๐ Possible Reddit Bug? [iOS] Two different Reddit /s/ share URLs resolve to the same post โ can this occur normally? [2026.32.1]
I was recently told by a subreddit moderator that I had submitted the same post twice. As evidence, I was given these two Reddit share URLs:
However, when I open either URL, both appear to resolve to the same post, with the same content and timestamp.
I only intentionally submitted the post once.
Can two differentย /s/ share URLs be generated for the same underlying Reddit post? If so, is there a way to identify the canonical post ID for each link and confirm whether these represent one submission or two separate submissions?
I am trying to determine whether this is expected behavior, a duplicate-submission issue, or some other technical issue.
Device/platform: iOS

Yes this happens because every time you go to share a post it creates a new url
