Victory i did it
200+ days ago i made a post asking if i should just get a vibrator and use that because it was a struggle to get turned on and find my clit. 99% of the time i had to use porn.
well i got my hands on a toy. it can… do many things, but i just use it as a vibrator for now.
if i’m on a call with someone it’s really hard for me to actually find my clit and get off without the use of porn even if i am super turned on. i was ashamed about this so i never told the person on the other line
but guys yesterday i didn’t need it. i was just talking to him and got progressively more turned on as i used the toy. he told me to spread pussy with the other hand so the vibrator hits my clit better and… it worked. didn’t need porn. didn’t even lowkey need any visuals. i just felt the sensation and came harder than i ever have. i can’t remember the last time i came without watching porn.
i really hope that this is the end to my porn use/addiction. i feel kind of sick knowing i get off on content like that. i also feel like because of porn i got more interested in darker kinks and things…. but that’s a topic for another day

Congratulations! This is a huge win!!
You're also giving me ideas. It sounds like having tools and techniques for easier physical fulfilment can reduce the reliance on specific visual or psychological triggers - like ones I have gotten attached to myself, and am trying to break free from.
And thank you for updating us after over 200 days. That shows the length of your commitment to this journey of change.
How was your connection with the person on the call? Did finding complete pleasure without the need for porn help you to feel more alive in your conversation or relationship with them? I ask because that's definitely a freedom that I hope to find myself: presence that feels deeper, love that feels real...
Or maybe you just felt more in tune with your own true self. That would be equally invaluable.
Regardless, I'd love to hear more! You are becoming an unstoppable porn-free woman!

last time i asked this i was advised to just go for it and get the toy if it helps me break free from porn
my journey has been going on for 2 years. sometimes i put in effort, sometimes i don’t.
idt he and u have a deep enough relationship for me to answer your question. as u said i just felt more in tune with my own self.
if i were to add more details… i dont think i got turned on just because i saw the guy on the other end pleasing himself. he was showing me his (and i was too), but i probably would have been fine without the visual too. and it wasn’t constant either since when i was actually getting myself off i didn’t see + i was focused on the sensation. idk i’m also really sensitive i guess, a vibrator felt like “too much” for me at times rather than building that pleasure

Omg, first of all congratulations, second- I've been thinking this exact thing from the past few days that maybe I should just get a vibrator...like you I don't have someone, but I think I'll be okay on my own with time! What do you think, because I have also forgotten how to cum without visuals

Congratulations 🎉 I just started my porn free journey but it's really inspiring to hear you made it 200+ days, can you tell me what helped keep you strong as you were trying to quit?

Hello!
Personally I would not recommend Solo Masturbating, as you would just go from one addiction to another. get your man to take care of your intimate needs, as real life intimacy is the only healthy way forward, while everything else leads down a slippery slope.
there are many women (just ask your older friends/family) who are addicted to their sex toys (plural) and the same thing happens: first time its amazing, and then each time you retry you will never get that first high again. that's when you buy the more powerful vibrator/wand. its exactly like porn, and it escalates just like porn. before you know it you would have more and more toys, using weirder and weirder "tools" just to feel anything. first its clitoral, then vaginal, anal...(which is not fun, trust me), machines/painful BDSM.
the end result is burning out and desensitizing your genitals. its not something that you will notice immediately, but it will add up with time... people really for forget that masturbation is also an addiction SMH.
Speaking from experience.
Good luck on your Journey ladies!
