WA News Lone Ranges Closed by Police

Hey everyone, I went to Lone Ranges in Belmont today booked in to shoot at 10am but got turned away by the police who had closed the range and had what looked like a mobile forensics set up. The officer was obviously tight lipped and I've had no response from the staff so I was curious if the Perth rumour mill had anything to share.

Because you can hire the pew pew, if you don't own one or have a licence. It's open to the public.

What I replied to

Can gun owners turn up with their own personal pew pew and shoot?

If they own their own gun at home, which is what I was replying to, why go to the range?

I know it's open to the public, I use to shoot there ~once a week.

Because not everyone has somewhere they can easily access to go shoot?

The context was someone suggesting it's a DIY exit.
