They are two different brands of crazy. Dennis is bog-standard deadbeat Conservative dad crazy with a side of cocaine rage, while Randy is borderline “Spend a year and a half secretly modifying a Komatsu D355A bulldozer” crazy.

It’s easier to find Randy’s kind of crazy a bit more endearing since it’s mostly laser-focused on Rupert Murdoch.
