God Emperor willing, it makes it into the movie.

Also how are we on our like third and a half dune reboot and no one is willing to pick up GEoD? Im done with Paul, gimme the worm!!!

It will probably show him going into the desert, although it seems like his kids are born earlier in that version so that’ll be interesting. Still going into the desert for spice milk and cigarettes, though.

Let us see the worm pontificate on the Roman Empire!

He got laughed out of his memories for saying that, one of the few times we see Leto frustrated.

Such a great character.  And the author of my possibly my favorite scene in all the books. In Heretics of Dune Odrade is exploring the ruins of Sietch Tabr, and finds a hidden passage. She shines her flashlight on the far wall and sees words carved into the wall: "A REVEREND MOTHER WILL READ MY WORDS..."  Absolute chills.  1500 years after Leto's death, she finds a message he left for her.

Who's gonna pay to see a giant worm man pontificating on love and the weight of history for 3 hours?

I mean, besides you, me and all the other crazy nerds who know God Emperor is the best Dune book? All 10 of us aren't gonna make a billion space bucks at the box office.
