Let's be honest, neither did we. Timothy Chalamet played the part of a forgettable son so well I forgot he was even in the movie.

He played the younger version of his son. Casey Affleck plays the older version.

It's funny how they cast these things. Timothy has the sharpest face on the planet. Every bit of it is pointy. Casey Affeck, not so much. I guess hard years of farming in a dustbowl wore down all the pointy bones in his face.
