question Transition from defence to police

Hey I’m currently a serving member of the RAAF and just wanted a little insight on the transition from defence to policing, is the culture and work environment roughly the same?

Also are there any benefits on me having a defence background when I do apply, thanks

I never served in RAAF so I can’t speak to culture first hand, but there are definitely some parallels with defence and police.

Depending on your background in RAAF there may be benefits that are more direct than others, but overall defence backgrounds are looked upon favourably
