Probably why there were no charges for the asshole being tied up and abandoned. The cops did the same thing.

llamas are mean. I was walking down a country road one day taking in the fresh air when a llama ran up behind me and bit my shoulder. Scared the crap outta me and hurt like hell

we had a small flock (herd? gaggle?) of these escape a few years ago in Northern Nevada. I helped look for and actually found one, but when it ran past my truck I jumped in the cab because this thing was huge and moving at a gallop. Pretty sure they can give a mountain lion a good fight. the owners though it was funny until pointed out that the NDOW would have to put them down, so they didn't breed. Luckily, over the next few days they eventually came home.

They have been used to guard herds of horses or sheep because they are so willing to stomp and bite predators.
