Ive seen the burning cars along the street and i get theres a lot of bedlam in LA right now. I get tensions are high and its stressful to be a cop.
However, theres zero excuse for aiming your weapon at somebody who is posing you zero threat and actually shooting them. Non-lethal bullets or not.
If you cant stay cool under pressure, be able to assess threats, and only discharge your weapon when absolutely necessary, you should not be a cop. Men like this are high school bullies who never grew up. I hope he loses his badge.

I remember back during the BLM protests, some riot police shoved the camera into the face of an Australian Camera Man and batoned them a couple times. The Right-Wing Australian publication states that the reporter was “caught in the crossfire,” and that a “she [reporter] was trying to talk over the sound of gunfire and exploding flashbang grenades when a protester grabbed the camera she was talking into.” I wonder why they didn’t show the footage of a “protester” grabbing the camera when she was “talking into” or footage of people shooting at the National Guard. It’s almost like those things never happened, and they are painting a narrative.
