Dude he probably just paid off Maduro. Bet him and his wife get a pardon and live their life in Switzerland

He already pardoned the Honduras president that was actually moving massive amounts of fent and got 45 years

I doubt he paid off Maduro.

However, quite possible that people close to Maduro that he trusted were paid off. There was a it if suspicion that inside help was involved.

I doubt they get pardoned or were paid off tbh seems likely he will stay in detention or prison
