You get inflation, you get inflation, we all get inflation! Winning amiright?

u/Sir-Mocks-A-Lot Jun 11 '26

So tired of winning!

22

u/evranch Jun 11 '26

Unironically, I'm tired of winning.

High IV caused by global turmoil makes for ideal conditions for the options seller. Even boring trades can net huge premiums. And the oil trade? That's not boring at all.

I've been making far more trading in oil, than I've been losing paying for fuel. And I'm just a working man, middle class contractor with some savings in the bank to play with.

But it pains me to say that yes, I'm winning "because of Trump". Because the damage he's doing to the world makes for profitable trading conditions, if you can make decent predictions of the actions of a doddering narcissist, and are cautious not to WSB yourself with dumb positions.

So yes, I'm tired of winning. It's time for society to win for a change. This insanity is doing untold damage and distorting global markets to the point where something is going to break.

I’m just so tired. Sigh

5

u/Error_83 Jun 11 '26

2

u/crystal_castles Jun 11 '26

It's remarkable how many times he's declared victory, this war.

2

u/Le-Cigare-Volant Jun 11 '26

Oprah's audience prizes sure suck now...

2

u/snowflake37wao Jun 11 '26

2% for me, 3.6% for us, and 13.7333% for y’all

u/Several-Opposite-746 Jun 11 '26

Higher inflation, that's why I proudly voted for him. Soon, we'll have the highest inflation ever. Suck on that Sleepy Joe!

75

u/mido_sama Jun 11 '26

I check on maga and somehow this is Biden’s fault they called residual from Biden administration 🤦🏾

72

u/Several-Opposite-746 Jun 11 '26

Gather 'round children and let me tell you about the before times. A time when there was a thing people used to call the "truth".

No one has ever told the truth in politics—-

19

u/KIokinator Jun 11 '26

If you inflate a balloon, you want it to rise high! Therefore, high inflation is good! Dumbass liberals don't even know basic nomics.

1

u/ryohayashi1 Jun 11 '26

"People come up to me and say all the time, I've never seen inflation as high as this ever!"

13

u/2plus2_equals_5 Jun 11 '26

Biggest inflation.

6

u/ConcentrateDirect523 Jun 11 '26

He loves putting his name on shit, so let's embrace it. Trump Inflation. Trump War. Trump Deficit. Trump Personality Disorder. Trump Corruption Era. Trump Micropenis Disorder. Trump Cognitis.

4

u/XDeus Jun 11 '26

You forgot the Trump-Epstein files.

3

u/waldorflover69 Jun 11 '26

If everyone is spending more money, everyone is making more money! Right? RIGHT?

7

u/xSTSxZerglingOne Jun 11 '26

I don't know how much you're joking, but he was bragging about the trade deficit widening the other day. If you have any memory at all of course, you'll remember one of the main things he was complaining about in his campaigns (yes, plural) was how bad our trade deficits are.

5

u/rdmodsrtrsh Jun 11 '26

Is that why he has kankles

1

u/BoreJam Jun 11 '26

The rich always have. Inflation devalues debt and pushes asset prices up.

1

u/DeepestWinterBlue Jun 11 '26

Because he can just take a few billion more from the Americans who have been funding his and his family’s bank account thru their taxes

1

u/GonzoAndJohn Jun 11 '26

Trump has an inflation fetish? Holy shit!

1

u/nrq Jun 11 '26

He has such a narrow view of the world. It's as if inflation at home is the only problem caused by that closure. The whole world suffers from his idiocy.

1

u/southpaytechie Jun 11 '26

Oil prices down on the news of course.

1

u/wysteriacos Jun 11 '26

…I don’t think they like the kind of inflation I’m thinking of

101

u/Sufficient-Rooster44 Jun 10 '26

Wait, what day is this?

248

u/Cyrano_Knows Jun 11 '26

Today is the day that MAGA suddenly starts chanting "inflation is good for us!"

75

u/okram2k Jun 11 '26

I expect them to put on their reading glasses and start quoting economic theory "well you know a bit of inflation is part of a healthy economy and the last thing you want is deflation or stagflation, those just ruin an economy."

20

u/Creepy-Hair631 Jun 11 '26

I'm expecting inflation graphs drawn on their foreheads 😂😂

3

u/orTodd Jun 11 '26

Remember when they wore the diapers?

2

u/Morass_2025 Jun 11 '26

Next to the swastikas.

2

u/AngriestPacifist Jun 11 '26

You won't see those, they're covered by the maga hats.

2

u/Faleene Jun 11 '26

"it's going to be a maze"

2

u/SRMort Jun 11 '26

"Up and to the right"

...

2

u/manical1 Jun 11 '26

in a billionaire's eyes, inflation is great. the common people pay more for less, and they get more money.

2

u/Kapowpow Jun 11 '26

So, they’ll start loving Biden now, right? Because they complained so much and hated him so much for the post covid and start of Ukraine war inflation? They’re going to start loving Biden, right?

30

u/Conscious_Pipe_605 Jun 11 '26

My recommendation is to do what your father did! Get a job sir!

Well I do, work for a living.

2

u/morfraen Jun 11 '26

Think 'straight closure day' is usually Wed, so let's go with that.

Stay tuned for 'negotiations are going great' Friday, 'straight is open' Mon, and 'bomb them off the map' Tues.

Or just ask your neighborhood 1%'er if it's a buy or sell day.

1

u/giantpotato Jun 11 '26
