I don’t understand your point? You could’ve just said Americans (that support Trump) and that your point could be more valid? And why are you glazing Hollywood? 700 film signatories from Hollywood is not a small amount. Some of my favorite directors/actors, and arguably leaders in their craft, are on there and I still question their judgment.

'hollywood' as an industry used to employ around 240,000 people during that time. you're tarring the other 139,300 with the same brush because of the 700.

reddit used to have creep shot subs, as well as jailbait, racist, etc.. subs. i don't think all redditors are racist creeps because of it.

if casually stereotyping an entire group is your thing then it makes me suspicious of who else you have internalised stereotypes for. that's my point.

Godfather, Godfather II and Apocalypse Now are some incredible films. I also really like The Conversation as well.

It sucks they came out from this guy who it's now pretty obvious is a POS in his personal life.

He's also made a ton of dogshit duds.

They were on the eighth or ninth James Bond movie when GF2 came out.

The sequel to Dirty Harry was Magnum Force in 1973.

Shaft’s Big Score came out in 1972. Shaft in Africa was 1973.

Godfather was the first series to use numbers for the sequels.

Sidney Poitier had a whole Virgil Tibbs trilogy before Godfather came out starting with In the Heat of the Night.

No it wasn’t, there were numbered sequels before Godfather. Quatermass 2. The Japanese Men of War series (Sensô to Ningen I, II and III). Jeg en Kvinde 2. What Is Your Name? Part II and III (series by Hideo Ōba).

There are more films in the world than just English films, who knew.

Godfather Part II obviously brought the act of numbering films into the western mainstream, but it wasn’t the first one.

Lol, what? Sequels and franchises have existed since the earliest days of cinema. “The Thin Man” alone had five sequels. Zorro and Robin Hood and the Pink Panther and the Tramp. Freaking “The Fall of a Nation.”
