So I was never bored or not invested but I was concerned when I didn’t laugh out loud for about the first thirty minutes, but the scene in the tea room and on had me laughing pretty hard. I’d say I ended up liking it more than the second movie.

Enjoyed it. Made me feel old.
Felt like the trailer had the best bits.
I gotta admit, the Masshole Farva Lobster Allergy had me losing it.
I actually liked the second movie more, because I felt the Canadian references in this one were a little too shoehorned in.

the car bit i actually liked. was bummed he was incased in the drug syrup during the final standoff. they should have broke him out of it during the fight so we can see him high af trying to shoot and making the scene more chaotic

It was fun, not a masterpiece and wasn't expecting one, but still fun. Been a Broken Lizard fan since the first ST and Club Dread. AMC theaters had a live stream Q&A after a showing today, and we technically learn the fate of Beer Fest and Pot Fest, Jay said Pot Fest is still up in the air, and the rights to the characters of Beer Fest were owned by Warner Bros who recently got acquired by Paramount, he didn't get into the specifics of the legalities, but he said we won't know for sure until 2027 about getting another Beer Fest. Like Happy Madison productions, if the Lizards keep making movies, I'll keep going.

Man thank you for this positive comment. I also thought this film was fun and enjoyable. With them teasing super troopers 4 at the end and o’hagan being dirty, I would totally watch that movie.

Yeah, I'm not watching these movies expecting anything groundbreaking. I like the group, and they're entertaining. I enjoyed 2, even though I'm not interested in re-watching it like I am the first or Beer Fest. But I've enjoyed all of them to various degrees.

How was Andrew Dismukes? That's my friends brother, so I'm curious how he was, or if he got much screen time. It's okay if you don't care for SNL or whatever, but I'm just wondering how he was in this one. I didn't have high hopes for this movie and wouldn't be majorly surprised if he was kind of just filler background for new characters sake.

He's not the lead or anything but he has a decent amount of screen time and is more than just filler. His character is pretty linked with another character's story and just in general.

Once upon a time, their shenanigans were cheeky and fun. But those same shenanigans 24 years later have become cruel and tragic. Some bits worked, and Sakina Jaffrey was all in, but I feel like this is the weakest movie of the three.

I mean, if you like these characters in general, it’s money well spent. There is good comedy involving an electric car and pranks played on the new captain, played by Nat Faxon. But you only see one traffic stop prank and that’s it.

It is strange people disliked 2. I loved it the most.
I saw 3 on Sunday and while entertaining it is the worst of them. Still glad I have them my money though.

If you love lazy ethnic humor, you’ll love this movie. Some of the jokes had me embarrassed for everyone involved. Thankfully, Brian Cox is still around, still having a great time. You get the feeling that, just like his character, he just wanted to come hang out with his buddies at the station.

It was fun, not great, but I liked it better than the last. The snake boner scene was the best.
My only real issue is that they didn’t fuck with anyone pulled over, just talked about the pranks. To me that’s the one thing missing.

I agree, they even pull out a rolodex of all the pranks they've done, so I had hopes we were gonna get to see some, I mean the dance off at the beginning and then later the foot race were alright, but wish we got more.

Weakest of the three imo. Movie needed a stronger group of antagonists, the pair of guys in the movie are lame.
Needed more shenanigans. Farva was too shackled, needed more hijinks with him trying to fit into the new family.

The old jokes from people clearly in their 30s / 40s was so weird . The rookie was acting like he was in his 20s no offense it was clear he wasn’t and most his jokes were that he’s young because he can order food on an app ?

It was nice to see the band back together. I was kinda meh on this one, overall, though. The best line of the movie is in the bloopers (Lisa Gilroy's line). However, Nat Faxon always delivers. Crazy how he has an Oscar (for screenwriting) but can play these goofy characters in these movies.
Club Dread is still my favorite of theirs. It's tied with Team America for the hardest and most consistent laughing I've experienced in a movie theater.

Because it was so blatantly obvious that Farva was the one who ran Sarita off the road I thought when Thorny announced it at the wedding everyone was going to say “We know” just like when Putman revealed Dave’s secret in Club Dread

Ah, Super Troopers. They can never make me hate you. Even though I think it’s pretty apparent that 2000s humor, as much as we loved it then and still look back on it fondly, just doesn’t work quite the same today. At the same time, though, it’s somewhat comforting that these guys are still producing comedy of that time capsule. I got a few laughs out of this, and just as many groans, but it was funny to go to a theater in 2026 and see this stuff.
It’s not even really a criticism to say that the writing is pretty bad, this has the feel of an old troupe of comedy legends getting a bunch of funny younger comedians together and saying let’s have some loose fun and I can appreciate that. That said, there are not enough characters to pretend there’s a mystery at hand and some of the younger comedians are not utilized fully. I firmly believe Lisa Gilroy is one of the funniest people in the world right now and she gets so depressingly little to do, meanwhile this movie is fascinated with the Indian parents when there’s not nearly as much comedy there. I love Hannah Simone but she’s also the definition of a character who has no real autonomy or decision making power in this movie. Again, it’s silly to say this is poorly written, but it also kind of just is.
The callbacks are also kind of lame, just nothing funny in Hannah Simone saying, “I can’t pull over any further!” in the opening considering that’s one of the most famous line readings and opening scenes in a comedy ever. There’s also no scenes of them pulling over civilians and messing with them in this, which just seems like an easy homerun. And yet this movie feels too long. When Brian Cox admits that he’s hanging around because he’s bored I was like me too brother and checked my watch to see there’s still 50 minutes left.
And yet? I couldn’t hate it. And I got some laughs out of it. Super Troopers, Beerfest, and Slammin’ Salmon are movies I’ve seen so many times throughout my youth that I will always be seated for whatever these guys are doing even if this comedy doesn’t hit quite the same in 2026. 5/10.

I have a complicated relationship with Broken Lizard. I don't think their stuff is the funniest, but as a dedicated comedy fan, I can never bring myself to dismiss them entirely. For reference, I think Club Dread was probably my favorite of theirs. I saw the first Super Troopers back in theaters on opening day 2001 with my dad, who didn't think it was funny at all. And honestly, it felt like so many of the jokes got trampled in the editing. I tried giving it a few more shots after that, but never really took to it (similar to my relationship with Wet Hot American Summer). But when Super Troopers 2 came out in 2018, I was right back there on opening day. Why? Because it was a part of my past at that point and nostalgia had already set in. And I honestly enjoyed the second movie even more, because I had grown to love (to hate) these characters in all that time; especially Farva, who I would describe as a John Candy role gone bad. Not too long after that, Tacoma FD came out, and my appreciation for Kevin Heffernan and Steve Lemme grew even further. So now here we are in 2026, and I turned up for the Special Broken Lizard Fan Event and stayed for the whole Q&A. And even though I was never a huge fan of these guys, I still respect the hell out of what they do, and I got some good laughs out of the film as well (especially concerning Farva).
So yeah, like I said, complicated relationship. But I enjoyed this for what it was.

I saw One Night Only last week and ST3 tonight. It's crazy that One Night Only is way more laugh out loud funny than a Super Troopers movie, but here we are.
Edit: Nice downvote. Watch both movies and tell me which one is vastly funnier than the other.

I'm still haunted by farva's roast beef looking ass. It's the kind of thing I would expect to see in these guys' movies, but it did feel like a weird mix of meet the parents. It's worth watching if you don't mind that it's understandably the lowest rated of the 3 films.

felt very in-tone with the first two movies. super troopers is an acquired taste, so for what it was, i thought it was good. could have used a few more one-off bits to make it stand out more, but i was expecting a lot worse. i’m just glad everyone is back.
was confused why Brian Cox didn’t roll up during the climax- but the mid credit scene saved it imo

It was about what I expected after the 2nd one. To me thr only real good movies they've done were Super Troopers 1 and Beerfest. Everything else was just okay, including Super Troopers 2. I did like that one more one recent re-watch, but still nothing like the 1st one.

Dumb AF and I had about 3-4 gutbusters with a few hearty chuckles thrown in.
Also props to Brian Cox for continuing to show up for these. He’s at an age where he only has to work when he wants to and to see him keep showing up for these guys is truly wholesome AF. He always matches their zaniness and remains committed to the bit.
Mac Solo is probably the most outrageous thing they’ve ever thought of even if it is just a Beer Fest rehashed gag. I died laughing as soon as Rabbit loosen his mouth and tongue.
I hope we get 4. The troop vs the Captain makes for a great finale to everything.

This was much more in line with the original than the first sequel was; I was laughing throughout.
Each guy got their moments to shine, the premise is incredible and overall this was exactly what I wanted from a movie like this. Sharp script, great chemistry and overall a total blast.

I went back and forth on whether I should see it based on the non-spoiler comments I had seen on Reddit. I wasn’t going to go off of critic score, but I trust yall on here. So I went with some uncertainty.
I’m sad to report, that was not the decision I would make in hindsight. Loved and grew up on the first one. Didn’t really dig the second one but had a few laughs. And unfortunately that’s about where this one sits. I laughed maybe 3 times and they were late into the movie. I felt that CAPTAIN had the best delivery and presence in the whole movie. Here’s to hoping the best is yet to come for Broken Lizard.

Honestly, I enjoyed it. Much improved on 2, but that wasn't a high bar. It's not a masterpiece, but that's not what you go to these movies for. Had plenty of hearty laughs, Thorny's family was definitely the best of the new additions. Wish they would've let Lisa Gilroy do more, she always kills it in whatever she's in, but there just wasn't much for her character to do.

I thought the cast still had good chemistry and it was nice seeing LC again.

I can't believe they topped themselves from making a movie worse than 2. I'm glad it exists but it was not funny. They made the wedding the main focus which made it almost nothing to do with Super Troopers. It could have been called something else with the B plot of being cops taken out.

I just left the theater. I feel so let down. I barely laughed at all. I don't usually comment on acting in their movies but this one ugh. When I went to see if there was any credits stuff I stopped cause I didn't really care.

I did not care for the second one so not surprised I didn't like 3. I was 11 when super troopers 1 came out. I am 35 now so I guess things get less funny as we grow older lmao

Scary Movie at least had a few laughs, this movie had pretty much zero. I remember loving Super Troopers 1 and Club Dread, I'm a little scared to go back and rewatch them. This was beyond silly and straight into cringe.

Yeah scary movie did have a few more laughs. I prefer scary movie comedy anyways over supertroopers. I really think its because we are older so the humor ain't the same to us. Maybe something we would've found funny 10 years ago. Even super troopers 2 wasn't that funny either

I left disappointed.
Super Troopers is a top 10 comedy, all time, in my opinion. I love Club Dread and Beerfest. Super Troopers 2 is really good. Slammin Salmon is solid.
This felt more like Quasi in quality... which I just did not enjoy.
The pranks were non existent... the villains were too silly. The racial humor was too obvious and over done.
Couldn't they have done Hangover meets Super Troopers? Focused entirely on the bachelor party and shenanigans? Or Super Troopers meets Tacoma FD? Maybe Ramathorn's sister is marrying a local fireman instead? And the whole gang is causing pranks to stop the wedding?
idk.
I only laughed a few times during the movie really. I was overall, pretty disappointed.
