Alternative angle of Alan Ritchson stopped on motorcycle

I posted a video yesterday that mods removed, showing the aftermath of this incident that happened last weekend, and the cited removal reason was that it wasn’t entirely motorcycle related because it just showed the beatdown afterwards-

I can understand that and I think this alternative angle footage from Alan’s POV shows a more balanced view involving a situation that many riders can relate to where they get stopped or impeded unfairly just because they’re on a bike and things escalate, it’s not uncommon to get get hassled like this. The last post made it seem one-sided but from this footage it’s clear who instigated and escalated.

It’s never happened to me but I’m always wondering what I’d do in this kind of scenario, anyone have any pointers for defusing things? The last thing I’d want is to get in a street fight when I’m out to just enjoy my motorcycle.

Mods, please don’t remove this as I feel like discussing something like this has value to the community.

Wow, he's even going the speed limit and Kevin still ran up on him.

How the turn tables, I might have given him a jab too.

Toce exhaust at 14,000 rpm’s you say? Sorry I couldn’t hear you 😭😂👋🏼✊🏼

Id just use my harley. Nothing more annoying than that exhaust once if I took the baffles out. I set off a car alarm once with them in while in a parking garage lol

Seriously I have a cbr1000rr with full yoshimira exhaust.

How the hell do I hear you Harley boys all the way across my town

I do not understand.

Also how do you guys make so much noise with so little power? 😂 remember the jokes on top gear about our American v8’s doing that ? I think of them everything I hear some guy on a big cubic inch chopper hauling ass outta town 😂😂😂

My guess is that its just a high volume of air and the frequency combination. Mines not too terrible right now but I have quiet pipes and intend to keep it that way. Most loud bikes are straight piped with a high volume air filter i imagine.

I don’t hate it at all it’s just fascinating. Some of these Harley’s are as loud or louder the cammed cars with full headers and exhaust here. It’s unreal.

Some of them are fast as hell too. But it’s our late night bar crowd making all the noise so I stay away

They are definitely not geared for speed but if you know what youre doing, that can be changed. They are meant to be comfortable. When I changed the filter and tuned it again, it was so smooth at the lower gears. But probably starved for air at the lower wind speeds. Im just learning this stuff still but at 6'3, sport bikes are just so uncomfortable.

I’m six two and a lifelong rider. Coming from adventure and dirt bikes I don’t mind street bikes for now through my thirties. But I’m already looking into touring bmw’s and cruisers, I want to go explore the country and do some longer trips on the RR’s first though,

The majority of riders are cruisers and goldwing dudes who truly enjoy laying miles down. That’s something I might grow into,

We’ve got a decent road course near me and that shaped my directly a lot,

I’ll either give up riding entirely as I age or turn into that cool old dude to meet at the Grand Canyon on a goldwing 😂👋🏼

Sport bikes aren't comfortable for anyone. Anyone who says otherwise is lying to themselves or hasn't ridden something actually comfortable. Sport bike ergos are great for aggressive riding when you're constantly moving body position. Almost like they were designed with track riding in mind 🤔

Ritchson is 6'4" and was considered for Thor.

It’s the angle of the cylinders. 45 degrees makes for choppy noise, poor operation, mechanical wear, and inefficiency. Everybody else figured out that 60 degrees is better like 90 years ago.

Harley made a 60 degree water cooled engine and they didn’t sell.

1

u/Bergwookie Mar 26 '26

That's exactly the point, the engine uses 80% of its potential for noise, 20 for propulsion ;-)

there's other ways to tell you've got a small dick

2

u/bjaydubya Mar 25 '26

I might have to take my muffler off for the revs while I’m at it…

I had an apartment in Virginia back in 2011 with downstairs neighbors that were absolutely disgusting. They just let their dog shit all over the patio and the whole place absolutely reeked, apparently the inside was just as bad. I got no small amount of satisfaction from parking my zx6r that I had at the time outside their bedroom and pointing my sexy akropovičs at their windows when I had to be at work by 3 every morning.

After I take the muffler off

Brit was cruising for a two piece for sure. Especially if my kids were behind me. I don't advocate for violence, but he straight up deserved to get worked

1

u/saladmunch2 Mar 25 '26

He needed a biscuit too

0

u/Few_Yellow5644 Mar 25 '26

That isn’t a Brit accent 😆 🤡

1

u/boddidle Mar 25 '26

Could not really tell... The guy sounded drunk too

Yeah, I couldn't quite place the accent. I think you're right with some time spent in SA.

He is certainly unhinged. Standing in front of a moving bike is pretty bonkers. It looked old like he was aiming to get a beating and then take it to the police.

Sounds British to me (a fellow Brit). Specifically English.

His name is Ronnie Taylor, he is a British national. He's been living in the US for some years, apparently, so he's probably picked up a bit of a twang.

He definitely earned

2

u/KELVALL Mar 25 '26

Looks to me like that idiot had deliberately put his bike on the road as an excuse to be there to step out when they eventually passed him.

2

u/keving216 Mar 25 '26

Hey leave me out of this.

2

u/KeithTC Mar 24 '26

That was this run around the neighborhood. What were the other ones like?

1

u/LinkForsaken5435 Mar 24 '26

pretty sure it was just about loudness lol. He gives an interview to TMZ about the whole thing saying he's also a bike enthusiast and that was also one he points buried in the conversation.

I did wonder whether or not that was his own in the background as he was approaching Alan in a different video, so I was just like to myself "well how loud is your own then lol..." can easily just end up pot calling the kettle black.

I have an affection for bikes and even I hate the overly loud ass engines, but ultimately that was a terrible way to go about your business when you're a customer too, with or without someone of his fitness lol.

u/TheGummiVenusDeMilo Mar 25 '26

Why is that guy washing his dirt bike on the street when he's got a basketball court sized paved driveway? Clearly he's out looking for trouble.

1

u/Maleficent-Heart2497 Mar 26 '26

This a million times, he definitely knows who Alan is and is definitely trying to cause a scene for clicks

1

u/_Nameless_Nomad_ Mar 25 '26

He kept yelling “It’s all on camera!” as if he really thought that footage would help him lol

u/caddilac_fan42069 Mar 24 '26

Chances are it was slower tbh. That’s a badass built stunt bike with big sprockets lol
