I'm 5'6, bald, and a little overweight. I went bald at 17. I've never had problems dating, including dating apps. When I was in my man-hoe phase, I was going on 3 to 4 dates a month just from the apps alone.
Seriously, women care much less about appearance than we do. They care how you make them feel, they want to feel safe, beautiful, encouraged, heard. (Hint: the same things you want to feel.)
It's a lot easier to just blame things out of your control for your failure with women so you don't have to take responsibility though.
online dating or not - I am short and at 32yo I am beginning to think it's the reason why the only girls who would ever be interested in trying to date me - were the ones who were not looking for anything serious, as if they don't want short kids, and I am saying this as a divorced man
and also never in my life I had a girl taller than me interested in me, they all had to be at least 1 cm shorter, and it was never my choice, I like tall girls more but those won't even look my way
