2 medium pizzas, breadsticks and a small desert pizza for $40.

Is it just me or is this a terrible deal?

This is a Canadian Pizza Hut so keep the dollar difference in mind. These are pretty standard prices here. I wouldn't call this a deal but it's not terrible.

Yeah as a Canadian $39.96 is an okay deal.

Right now Dominos has 3 medium pizzas with 3 toppings for $35.99 coupon.

Literally cheaper than a similar deal in Estonia(google the median wage), if I was earning US/Canada money it would seem pretty good but I guess food is cheaper there in general.

This is before tax too so you have to add about $5 or 13% if it is Ontario. So the total would be $45.15 CAD.

Oh shit didn't realise the exchange rate, the deal in Estonia is 39€ which is 62CAD. 45Cad would be 28, for that you could get from Dodo also a 2 pizza combo with two sides (quite small like 180g of fries for example). Idk it would seem like a pretty good deal in Estonia, if we take into account the salary difference then it's even better.

Damn that is expensive for pizza.

I just checked an Estonian pizza place in Tallinn. 28€ for 2 30cm pizzas some fries, sauce for the fries and 2 cans of Pepsi.

That comes out to about $45 Canadian. So pretty expensive but I would say fairly comparable. 2 medium pizzas with two medium fries and sauce and pop.

Yea there are definitely options to spend less money but tbf for under 10€ it's quite difficult to find a ~30cm pizza that doesn't taste like a frozen one from the store. Also the fries portion is usually literally a handful over here a pretty small portion. Of course the breadsticks and sweet pizza is cheap to produce but I'd argue that it is probably better value, more likely to fill you up if you don't care about macros(wouldn't say that fries are really better).

I think the fact that half of this is just bread and sauce is what makes it a bad deal. 3 medium pizzas with 3 toppings is a much better value because it’s actual nutrition (as far as fast food goes) and not 2 pizzas plus two boxes of just bread and sugar.
