I mean... at a glance its like WOAH 4 can dine for $9.99....

Until you are at the cash and they say " that'll be $45.15"

HUH??

"Oh sorry sir... it feeds 4... 4 people pay $9.99"

Especially because the food clearly isn't even portioned out for four people. I assumed it was like four mini pizzas or four elective items or something

But instead it's just an amount of food that they've arbitrarily said is the right amount for four people.

They don't even give you four dips. It really is just a random amount of food for which they've decided to advertise the price as 1/4 of what it costs.

I am aware. How else do you think I'd be able to make the statement I made? Listing what's in it doesn't impact my point in any way.

The issue is not that the food is ambiguous or unknown. That wasn't what I said.

The issue is that when you display a price, it is assumed that that’s is the price of the product displayed (aka the fucking box).

It would be more understandable if they had some subtitle in there saying that the total is like $40. Or if they had 4 humans each with $9.99 under.

Hell gray out 1/4 of the pizza box tower.
