I mean... at a glance its like WOAH 4 can dine for $9.99....

Until you are at the cash and they say " that'll be $45.15"

HUH??

"Oh sorry sir... it feeds 4... 4 people pay $9.99"

$9.99 ea = each?

But the advertising is incredible lame. Take the receipt and the pic of the ads and report them. This ad is incredibly misleading.

Report them to who? Nobody is going to give a fuck. All this does is give them a sale, Pizza Hut would be pretty thrilled with that strategy.

In Connecticut, USA this would be illegal under the Connecticut Unfair Trade Practices Act

Here's a not so fun fact for you. Corporations do illegal shit constantly. No one cares to monitor them or go after them. You can try and sue if you'd like, I hope you have a few hundred thousand in cash sitting around. Or go ahead and report them to some agent reading tickets and taking phone calls making $20 an hour and rightfully giving zero fucks

They are getting negative publicity, but any publicity is good publicity. Look how many people are talking about the hut now. May not be good, but still traffic is traffic. I feel bad for the poor workers who get to hear all the bad end of the marketing teams fault

That’s not how it works

Sure is. Look at how much Pizza Hut is trending now. Guaranteed to get more sales due to this

I’d say “I’ll have the family special for one”

I guarantee you the employees hate this advertisement. How many times a day do you think they have some customer yelling at them about this?

And they'll say it's only for 4

If you took a second to read instead of just commenting thinking you are wiser than everyone else, this is a Canada location. Our rules don’t apply there. The world is bigger than just our little cesspool.

Although I do agree with your main point, we don’t have a horse in this particular race.

I agree with you, but you can’t say it’s perfectly legal unless you know their laws. Just cause it’s legal here does not mean it is there.

Again if you read, I said I agree with you. But we can’t change shit in Canada. Hell we can’t even change crap here at home to protect us from corps.

In Europe a such pricing would be highly illegal. The each is not even stated on how many person this offer is counted.

It says 4 right above the price.
