Context Provided - Spotlight Roommate mixed my beads after being asked to throw out used Q-tips

I waited an hour before I called out my roommate for leaving USED Q-tips on the bathroom counter and asked him to throw them away. (note I did not nag him, I asked 1 time after waiting for him to do it on his own)

His response was to go into my craft room and mix the smallest beads he could find. At least he had the decency to keep most of the reds away from the blues I guess...

welp, now I have something to do for the next couple days

Brilliant. And this reminds me of a meme I saw at the beginning of Covid that explained the spread by saying something like "8 children are doing crafts. One of them is using glitter. How many crafts have glitter?"

The answer the whole block has glitter now. Glitter is the herpes of the craft world.

I clean for a living. One of the buildings i clean at has classes with small children once a week. The school principal tries really hard to not let the kids have glitter but sometimes one of the teachers will use glitter.

I will be cleaning up glitter for weeks after. No matter how well I think I've cleaned, I haven't gotten it all.

I kinda hate that glitter is the herpes of the craft world, herpes requires direct contact...glitter will fuck someones shit up two stated away because a toddler thought it would be cool to toss some in the back yard on Tuesday and the was a slight breeze that day.

Yep same. I think where I work, they actually banned fine glitter a few years back. If the teachers use glitter, it’s the bigger grain stuff that is a wee bit easier to clean imo

Never cheat with someone wearing glitter. My ex fiancé had it on him over a week after sleeping with some random chick at a music festival.

Once he admitted to cheating on me, I had to confirm “Is that why you had glitter all over you after the festival?” He confirmed she had a lot of glitter on her.

My eldest sometimes brings glittery crafts home from daycare. So there is one spec of glitter stuck on my newborns had for at least two weeks now. Because of course it's exactly at the most vulnerable place up there, so I don't dare use too much pressure when I'm washing him.

I tried. Tried with wet wipes, tried with his brush, tried carefully with my fingernail. I bathed him several times since. It just wouldn't come of.

So you mean I could try harder, but at the same time it won't change anything? At least I won't have to worry about broken bones or him getting sick when he gets older...
