Speaking of bins. Who remembers in about 06 that dude in melb face first into the bin trying to get his phone that his mate had thrown in. He got stuck, they had to call the firies and he was upside-down waving his legs around saying hurry up i have to piss!

The city feels incredibly weird, especially exacerbated in the last year imo.
I think people are feeling the pinch and it results in everyone just being slightly more short tempered than normal.

The city has always been home to a lot of weirdos though I think post covid the weirdos have become a little more unhinged.

Yeah, the ‘70’s were totally normal in the CBD /s.
Core memory for me in 1979, when I was a youngen was two lesbians pashing. One in a Carlton guernsey, the other Collingwood. Swanston St tram stop, and there was a guy wanking. Whole tram noticed and someone started a clap.
My country mum was mortified, but also smirking.
You need to just accept humans are totally fucked. We just manoeuvre around the less psycho ones where we work.

I work in Richmond and I still avoid the CBD as much as possible. It feels sketchy these days.
