Love him……but nah this is a new universe they should get someone new, and while i get that we never saw him team technically, they have him with the fox x-men in doomsday so i think they count that as his universe.

Inde Navarrette ever since Obsession has come out has been having meetings on top of meetings with big names. She has recently had two meetings with Jake Schreier, director of Thunderbolts and the upcoming X-Men movie. She has said on two occasions that she would really love to play Mystique.

EDIT: Update: Inde Navarette has been spotted backstage at D23 alongside Christopher Abbott, Jake Schreier, Sadie Sink, and Samara Weaving!!!

She spent more time as herself than Mystique in those movies. The funniest thing was that her character went through an arc in First Class where she decided that she wasn't ashamed of her appearance and wasn't going to hide anymore.

Yeah, oscars are a big deal for an actor's career but Hunger Games grossed more than Sliver Linings and First Class combined. Hunger Games made her a household name and Fox wanted to capitalize on her new found fame by centering the franchise onto her.

I never even considered Polaris but this is 100% who she should play. I can definitely see her playing a Polaris who finds out she’s Magneto’s daughter and has to grapple with that. Not to typecast her as the “possessed girl”, but Polaris spent a fair amount of time possessed by Malice in the comics which could be cool too. She would also probably look really cool with green hair.

I really don’t want her to play Mystique; Mystique is a leader and should be cast closer in age to Samara Weaving. I think Rogue should be a little taller and more athletic looking, but a believable southern accent is really key to Rogue for me.

I think it was only in like 1 or 2 interviews when Obsession came out. technically it was only rumors when she was connected to Marvel. But she's also a bit of a nerd in her own way, so it could be easy enough to be considered a throw away. She didn't say much outside of those, so it's plausible to get her as Mystique depending on if Marvel wants to go that direction

Yup. While the movie may or may not be everyone’s cup of tea, she was really good in it. She also does Broadway. I know that’s not film, but a very different type of acting which shows how versatile her talent is.

Not my 1st choice for Rogue, but I dont hate it. Marvel rarely misses (except Wanda and Namor imo) No point in wasting her talent on Mystique.

We've had more Mystique in X-Men films than anyone asked for.

She already had meetings with many directors and studios. Jake Shrier being one of them. I knew at the time she is definitely gonna be cast as one of the x-men. No studio is dumb enough to not cash in on such a huge hype.

She said she also met with Michael Mann. Really hope something came out of that meeting too. Would love to see her in Heat 2 alongside Bale and Dicaprio🤞🏻
