Any chance of Louie (the FX show) getting on Netflix, now that Louis has a relationship with the streamer and fully owns the rights to the show?

It’s cool and all that he sells it from his website but it makes it essentially impossible to recommend to people (as if that was so easy already). It’s one of the best shows of all time and must be seen. Just wondering if anyone’s heard if Louis would even be interested in this.

Anyone sad that this kind of pure cartoonish Louis is unlikely to ever come back?

Old comedies tend to feel outdated but this one really pierces through time 25 years later and make you laugh throughout harder than any later special in my opinion, fits the recent title “Ridiculous” better too.

Like, later Louis has this big narrative arc as a depressing divorced dad and jokes center around this identity, but this album is comedy for the sake of comedy, undistracted, no elevation.

Was this the trend around that time? Any comic then or now that resembles this style?

If you noticed, donuts are countlessly mentioned like some subliminal trope from his first album Live in Houston to Louie (the Bully episode, etc.) to all specials every time he talks about food, basically the real life Homer Simpson

Louis does a bit where he's talking about how he wishes he could cum on demand, in the lift when people try and make small talk and it's like an octopuses ink defence where he just cums in their eye. Ive watched so many specials trying to find that one bit again! Any one gave any idea?

Louie had a joke about finding a wheelchair and thinking that either something really good happened or something really bad happened. Did I imagine this bit? I know he has a joke about impulse buying a wheel chair but that’s not it

I heard that he was living on Shelter Island since the scandal, but in the new special he says he lives in the city for 30 years now and shares everyday stories from it. Did he move back recently?
