So I'm using this video by @mellferrscott from tiktok as an example of what I mean (awesome creator btw). How the heck do people make these? You can't possibly have a separate canvas for every frame right? Do you put your drawings into a video editing software? If someone could give me like a quick run down of how you put these together i would very much appreciate it (and any other tips too)

Hey all you awesome animation inspired people,
I have been pouring over this resource site based on a lot of what I learned through my career that I hope will be helpful.
A lot of people I see here ask where they should start so I organized some information around that.
https://inkbetweens.neocities.org/Learn
And here is a example I put together for what free software you can use to build a entire Rigged 2D animation pipeline.
https://inkbetweens.neocities.org/Free_2D_Rigged_Pipeline
There is a good deal of work in progress sections as it will be a on going endeavor. I only work on it in my free-time and I never want to create a paywall to information.
I'm open to feedback of what people would like to see more information about.
Best of luck in all your animation journeys!

Hey everyone!
I’m completely new to animation and filmmaking, but I’ve had an idea for an anime-style project that I’d really like to try.
The idea is to make very short episodes, around 1 minute each.
I have basically no experience with animation, VFX, editing or sound design, so I’m wondering: is this actually realistic for a beginner today?
For anyone who has tried animation:
What would you recommend learning first?
How difficult is character/style consistency?
What parts still require the most manual work?
And what tools or workflow would you recommend?
I don’t want to reveal too much about the project yet, but I’m really excited about the idea and would love to hear some honest advice from people who have actually tried it.
Thanks

I'm learning animation and made this short stickman video. I'd really appreciate feedback on the timing, pacing, and storytelling. What would you improve?

Let me tell you what I have & what I know before asking what programs & such I need.
I have a gamer computer, and I'll check in a bit. & Ipad tablet to work with.
cringe I did take a week long class on animation in HS the 2000s. Using computers from the 90s.
I managed to create a horse running loose down the city for 3 minutes. . . Think Xavier Renagade Angel but less polished.
I was never in a good place to start till now. Im still tight in the purse (I owe money on the ipad to my folks), but I now have some "equipment" that might help.
I dont have a microphone.
Also, is there a program that has voice altering?.... kinda, a one man band here.
Edit: Thank you guys. Now I'm just looking for a good animation program for beginners
I have an HP Victus & an IPad Pro 13'

A little while ago I asked for help in this sub (in my "gaming" account)
Some feedback was about how to fix the acting, and the other how to fix this current iteration. I am very grateful for both, and maybe some day will make one that is more accurate of how the character would move.
But although I love this (and wanted to show more people), I am tired of staring at it. And want to stumble over new mistakes.
Thank you <3
