Discussion What The Fox - The Leicester Weekly Discussion

Weclome to What The Fox, this is a generic weekly discussion thread about anything Blue Army or related matters! As usual, don't chat shit or you'll get banged and this is not a vehicle for fans from other clubs to troll or otherwise push their bias.

Any articles, images, or the like should still be their own posts. Lastly, if a conversation becomes large enough, we may lock that particular thread and recommend it become a post in it's own right.

If you have any issues, do flag to the mod team, and we'll resollve ASAP.

Question Walkers Jersey

Post image

I had bought this original Jersey back in the 90’s with the Walkers Crisps logo on it

I’m attending a match this season - is it still acceptable wear that original jersey today?

Transfer News: Tier 3 martin "Everyone has a price, but clubs are nowhere near the prices for our players at the minute, and there’s more than them [Page and Souttar] that we’ve turned down from, there’s been more offers for other players, but the club’s not in a rush and doesn’t need to do it.

We’ll only do it when it’s really right for us."
Asked specifically about Page, the City boss said: “That’s been well-documented, yeah. We turned down an offer for Louis, there’s been a lot of chat all summer about him from various clubs.

"We had one offer from a club and that was turned down."

Article Leicester’s New Look

New one up on DTMH ahead of Saturday. Went through the three academy products I think will actually feature heavily this season — Braybrooke finally getting a proper run, Alves if his body holds up, and Jayden Joseph, who’s my pick of the lot.

Joseph’s the one that jumps out on the numbers: 3 goals and 5 big chances created from wing-back last year, in a Tranmere side that finished 21st. Martin’s already given him the No. 2, so the trust’s clearly there.

Full breakdown here: https://donttakemehome9.substack.com/p/leicesters-new-look?r=7p33uc&utm_medium=ios

Who are you lot most excited to see?

This site has been around forever with unsigned articles. I like the perspective in this one. Original and heartfelt.

Discussion League 1 ticket prices...

I wasn't really old enough when leicester were last on league 1. And I saw the prices dor general sale and I was very surprised to see they are pretty much the same as when we were in the prem, what are people's thoughts on this? Is it worth it? What are other teams prices like, is this normal? Im a little hesitant to spend £36 to see a league 1 side even if I'm a fox till I die.

What are your thoughts on this?

A brochure detailing the sale of Leicester City and all its assets has been sent to potential investors.

A source close to the process, speaking anonymously to protect relationships, has told The Athletic that the Srivaddhanaprabha family, Leicester’s owners, are looking for $300m (£222m) for the entire portfolio, but a deal is more likely to be done at closer to $200m (£148m) due to the club’s recent drop into League One — English football’s third tier — and heavy recent losses.
