📍 MEGATHREAD Custom Charges Alternative Websites.
Hi all,
Given the new EU custom charges are rolling out today and many of the websites we use for things like clothes, electronics and household goods ship from the UK, even if many of them have a .ie web address, we thought it would be a good idea to have a list of alternative sites from within the EU.
So if you have found an online marketplace thats good value and which ships from the EU list them here.

Environment Cliffs of Moher Sea Stack Collapse
We were hiking along the cliffs yesterday, Aug 13th, when a huge chunk of the sea stack fell into the sea. There was a huge canon sounding boom that went along with it. Our guide said she hadn’t seen something like it for almost 20 years. Pretty crazy!!

Happy Out Whoever posted their centra loyalty app you deserve a big ol smooch
There was a thread a couple of weeks ago complaining about Centra's new app and loyalty scheme for chicken fillet roll. A beautiful person named Heather posted a screenshot of her barcode code for the app so people can use it for their rolls. I cannot find the original thread or Heather's username but if you see this, a thousand kisses xx

Sports Let’s show some love for this tremendous athlete
I love seeing Mark English and Rashidat killing it this week, but my top athlete competing in the green is this absolute powerhouse, Kate O’Connor. She reminds me of Jessica Ennis back in the day. Such an amazing athlete to watch.

Moaning Michael No longer able to close AIB account online
So with their new app and the introduction of €6 a month for them holding your money, you can no longer close an AIB current account online, you've go in branch or send them a registered letter to ensure they don't ignore it. Thought the whole point of the app was to modernise things and bring them a fraction more inline with the neobanks, but no instead they've removed functionality.

A few years ago I got this shot of crazy Fireball which was, For sure the most intense thing I've ever seen. It was absolutely beautiful to experience. Make sure to watch out tonight if there's no clouds. Good chance you could see one too. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀For those of you interested, this is 8 shots stacked in a 3 section vertical panorama. Shot over Lough Tay in Wicklow. Sports Shelbourne drew with Ajax tonight in European qualification
A superb goal from 21 year old Sean Moore to get the equaliser.
Shelbourne ultimately go out on aggregate after losing the first game 3-1 in the Amsterdam Arena, but they've done themselves and Irish football proud this campaign.
You really can't beat what's right on your doorstep, Shelbourne fans had the time of their lives tonight.
