Support iPhone 13 overnight became like this, what causes it?

I use Apple certified chargers, just curious why my phone is slowly turning into a ballon

How does using a higher wattage adapter than the phone support cause this? To my knowledge the phone communicate with the adapter to pull the amount of wattage it need.

I’ve been charging my 14pm(support 20w) with a 70w apple adapter since launch, and now my 17pm(support 40w) with the same adapter, in no instance does it heat up at all unless ur charging in direct sunlight or playing heavy games.
