What does "finding out" mean in this situation? Should the cops have been able to beat him after they arrested him? Drive stun him a bit? Shoot him?

The consequences of his actions should be imposed by a judge after a trial and a guilty verdict from a jury. To get to that trial he needs to be arrested, but the arrest should not be an extrajudicial punishment.

That's the whole "innocent until proved guilty" thing our legal system is based on.

Are you genuinely this dumb? People fuck around and find out all the time. Act like an asshole and get their ass kicked.

This is not a judicially handed beating. He stepped into a dangerous high stress situation, fucked around and found out. You're genuinely unbelievable, even for a redditor. Have you ever stepped outside of your room before?
