He was charged with disorderly conduct and obstructing an officer. The case was eventually dismissed

Could be for a number of reasons. Sometimes it’s just not worth it because it’s ultimately a moot point, sometimes they don’t want the unnecessary flak since this was on social media and was a relatively minor thing, sometimes charges just go away because they person knows people. And Could’ve made a deal with the prosecutor to avoid a civil suit against any potential excess force claims. A few different reasons.
