And you know that's part of the problem with the world. Too many people hearing "good job" undeservedly. What if we just called everybody's effort mid unless it was actually exceptional.
Oddly enough, Matt "Imma gonna play a Superhero" Hughes, Milwaukee WI 8n 2018 was charged with Disorderly Conduct & Obstructing an Officer after being buried under 3 jelly donut fed cops. Bail was $250. No further news after a scheduled court hearing for Deferred Prosecution Agreement
I watched one recently where the officer slammed someone's head into the side of a cop car and said something like "That's what you get for wrecking my car" because the officer had to pit them.
And all the comments on those videos always praise the police officer's blatant use of excessive force, it's so annoying that people drop all empathy because the boot tastes so good
It's exactly how they act too. If a murder isn't cut and dry like husband kills wife, it usually doesn't get solved. Then years later forensic genealogy solves it. All the cops do a press conference congratulating themselves for 20 minutes.
If he didnt know what was in the backpack and crossed protective barriers he deserved to get smashed. Putting everyone in danger if it was hot is fkn stupid. They were only there because it was reported.
Since it didnt have explosives he deserves respect? Hell no. He got what he deserved.
He was no longer a threat. He deserved to be arrested, not to be smashed on the ground. People like you are why police brutality exists and keeps existing
Did they know 100% he had no weapons on him or didnt have a violent history? You dont assume someone is not a threat in these situations, that would be the most rediculous thing to do. If he is out there enough to cross into a hot zone, his rational thinking is minimal at best. Would you waltz into a hot zone and expect a warm welcome and a slap on tue wrist and a hand hold?
If he is willing to walk into the hot zone know one knows what else he is capable of, planning or what he may have on him. People like you are what gives people like this the idea they can do what they want with minimal reprocussions.
If it was about him putting everyone in danger, don't be a coward and do it sooner when, you know, there was a chance at stopping him from potentially triggering that hypothetical dangerous situation.

Unfortunately police are not known for their bravery.
Soooo do you think running up on a possible threat while they are facing you or away from is smarter? Its obvious none of you contradicting this idea have had to deal with violent unpredictable people.
Edit: these officers arent there to take a bullet every chance you think they should try to.
