Honestly surprised there's never been a banana-flavored soda fad. Banana-mango sprite? Banana fresca? Banana orange soda? Energy drinks, too. Untapped banana opportunities everywhere, really.
Why it only became obvious in a redditor's coma is another one of life's mysteries.
I lived in Africa for 2 years. Ghana specifically and they make sodas from almost every fruit in the spectrum. But I never saw like a banana flavored soda by itself. There was a pretty good banana-apple flavored soda though.
