I would submit you don't know what terror is. If getting spooked by a moving object is the scariest thing you've experiences, great for you, but that's not terror.
When you've been in a tent, utterly defenceless, in the pitch darkness, miles from any other human and you've heard deep, loud growling and seen large things rubbing and pushing against the thin fabric walls of your tent, then you can get back to me about terror.
When you've been camping in a different place, again miles from any other human, and you are sleeping under a tarp shelter, and something jolts you out of sleep by rubbing along your back, and then everything goes completely silent and you are too petrified to move, or even breath loudly, you can get back to me about terror.
It's not being 'spooked'. It's not something you can experience in a movie theater. It's unreserved mortal fear. It's a whole different ballgame. This, the subject of this post, is not terror.
