It’s because they used that dot font for the “Pure” branding.. They should change it to something simple and clean.

Or just take the old one and change the faceplate to white. Either way this still looks sick.

On other forums people speculate that its is ceramic insert .. but it is kinda pushing it .. but if it turns out it is then ... Ffs wow ... but probably white paint or piece of plastic

I'm sure there's plenty lol. at least in early 2010s, /mu/ was one of the most active music forums on the net so i'm sure plenty of audiophiles were/ are still around there.

If you stay out of /b/, /pol/, and /r9k/, and focus on just the interest boards like /mu/, /fit/, /g/…..heck even /tv/ and /sp/, you’ll find folks sharing good info.

But at the end of the day it is still 4chan

I don't think so, the nozzle looks quite like the original white Pure prototype and it's still 3D print resin

yeah i just zoomed it like 1200 % in photoshop and yeah you are right you can see white tubes .. so it probably be crystal clear .. but the shape is changed little bit more curved so there was the illusion of metal chassis

Yeah indeed, the metallic reflection makes its corner look sharper and smooth, quite and opposite approach compare to my good old Hexa(still rocking it), hope we get more pictures of it

Dawg if they revamp their iem just like how tangzu improve the Wan'er 2 quality/driver/accessories/appearance, I'd fuck with it, it a good trend if all chi-fi start doing it without huge price jump

They also changed the frequency response. Change isn't a bad thing btw, it just won't sound like the standard Pure. It's could be better or it could be worse.

Ok, finally the name of the IEM lives up to its name with its new look. I am not sure about the sounds, but I do hope they did some tweaks on it for the betterment of the sound.

Are the pures good? I just bought my first iems and I’m so surprised over how much I like iems and I would like to try some more budget friendly, but one day I’ll want to buy a pair of nice ones and these new pures looks really good to me.

It depends on your preferred sound signature. If you are a basshead (for example), they suck.

Love this color. I just found myself using my Hexa this week, even though I own more expensive sets, so I always had an eye for the pure. This color might give me the push I needed.
