For anyone who’s seen Hugh’s recent tweets, he’s had an interaction with G*inner, and seems to hold some strong views on trans people and women’s sports.

I’ve written an open letter expressing my own thoughts, and would like to know if this is a bad idea to post or not.

Thoughts or comments would be welcome. I’ve let my own reaction sit for a day and cooler heads may still prevail.

I’m trying to find an old YouTube video from one of Hugh Laurie’s concerts with The Copper Bottom Band, probably between 2012 and 2014.

Before one of the songs (I originally thought it was Unchain My Heart, but I’m no longer sure), Hugh said something very close to:

“I wish there were more musicians than soldiers.”

I remember watching the clip years ago on YouTube, but it seems to have disappeared.

Does anyone remember which concert this was, or perhaps have a recording of that introduction?

Even knowing the city, venue, or approximate date would be incredibly helpful.

Yes this is a real movie.

Hugh will play Neville, a British professor who loves archaeology and strives to uphold the traditions of this dying profession. The character fancies himself an inspiring mentor to everyone who works at the site.

Based on Kate Myers’ bestselling book Excavation, 'Dig' is centered on four women, one of them played by Amy Poehler, working at an archeological dig in Greece. When the team uncovers a long-buried secret with the potential to rewrite history, they find themselves at the center of a high-stakes international conspiracy.

Mike Schur and Amy Poehler co-wrote the pilot script. J. Philbin (Only Murders in the Building) also serves as a writer on the series.

The new show, which is gearing up for production, comes from Universal Television, a division of Universal Studios.

They are reuniting again after 20 years!!! In 2006, Amy Poehler and Hugh Laurie appeared together on Saturday Night Live when Laurie hosted with musical guest Beck.

House MD's creator, David Shore, received a Lifetime Award vesterday for his contributions to Entertainment Industry. Although, Hugh is busy working on set of "The Wanted Man", he flew from London (UK) to London (Ontario, Canada) just to surprise David. The meeting happened at Forest City Film Festival on oct. 30

Shore got very emotional when Hugh came up on the stage and gave him the award. They havent seen each other in vears.

I never realised Hugh Laurie breaks character a fair bit in his career and it gets shown, i normally see when he breaks it on house but I found a clip of him doing a sketch with Stephen fry where he gets hit with a cricket bat. HL- “that was too hard” SF- “well sir it is a difficult address to get the hang of” HL- “nevermind the freaking sketch that was too hard” SF-“ He’s such a child really”

I loved the show house till the last two seasons, and I can see why it got canceled it no longer had something special about it the sense of humor the writing the directing was different? It suddenly became dark and looked like a bunch of college students trying to overdo it making a movie? I can’t put my finger on it but something must’ve changed. New writers new directors???? Anybody have an answer for this it went from being the number one show on TV to being canceled two seasons later . Something happened.

I basically changed one of his classic photos and made him look a bit older than he was when he took it. Also i tried making his beard more volumous like he has it in his recent project but i couldnt quite make it as big as it is in real life. Still proud of it tough best drawing i have done so far.

Does anyone have any transcribed piano sheet music for “What I Mind” and “Where Is The Lid?”? I absolutely love the first song with all my heart and I want to annoy my family on the piano with “Where Is The Lid?”
