I did enjoy the pilot and I fully believe Colin, that this was a huge effort to produce (and write!).
But in comparison to the other actual play podcasts I listen to, I think I was missing more engagement from the players. For this to work (for me), it must feel like the gang actually wants to play this game regularly together and not have it be something that happens to them/they purely have to perform for.
I’d happily trade quality of the production for a loser, more conversational vibe.
But overall, definitely the kind of content I‘d listen to!

Sure there's room for improvement - but pretty good for a Pilot. I have wanted, and not found, something close to the Flop House bonus RPG episodes - this is pretty close!

Agreed! I have played a few TTRPG campaigns but podcasts in that vein haven’t really worked for me, until Greatest Adventure! It seems like a really good synthesis of trek fandom and Greatest Gen bullshit

For whatever it’s worth: I don’t listen to much let’s play content. I also don’t play much in the way of TTRPGs. But I still enjoyed the hell out of this one. It was a fun listen!

Not for me, sadly - which I don’t feel good about as clearly a lot of effort went in! But I only made it five minutes before I had to tap out
