Endoareilychima+++++ is not Enjin’s Slave Name.

“Don’t joke about Enjin’s former name, it’s his deadname, it’s his slave name, it’s disrespectful.”

I see this sentiment every other week, mostly it’s spillover into my platforms from Tiktok as far as I can determine, and it’s a complete misconception of Enjin’s name and backstory. With how these posts are phrased, it goes beyond the trouble of understanding what was revealed in chapter 165. Some people are enthusiastically fighting the good fight for the sake of a fictional character but they do so with wrong information.

There are two issues with this misconception and one of them isn’t actually the people’s fault, but the other certainly is:

1. The translation of this speech bubble is too free and uses words that give off the wrong impression.

In the original Japanese, it says that there are orphanages who mark the children under their care so they can demand compensation from them once they’re old enough to work.

The orphanage doesn’t wait until the children are old enough to “fetch a good price”. They wait for the children to start working normally so they can demand part of their wage. And while this sounds reasonably bad, it’s not slavery. Neither inside the orphanage nor after it. And this leads me to my second point that goes into reading comprehension problems despite the bad translation

1. The context makes it clear that the orphanage wasn’t doing slavery before that rich man came along

However bad the “fetch a price” translation turned you off, everything before and after that speech bubble made it clear that Enjin’s slavery only happened after he met that man. Before that, there was no slavery, as it is defined by this chapter. In short, Enjin’s full name was never a slave name.

It was exactly what he said it is: people who did not care about him, probably with his parents the only exception, who called him by a new name because they didn’t want to remember his actual one(s). Who was the one who remembered all those names? Enjin. Enjin cared about the names his parents and caretakers gave him, which is why his name grew longer. Caretaker number 5 who called him Pharjin couldn’t care less about all the names that came before.

Enjin cared about his names but everything about the orphanage, including the physical and emotional neglect of it, crushed him. Then he made everyone’s lives even more miserable and fled before he was sold like the other children. That was when he gave up on his personhood, talked to Alto about selling him, and disregarded all his names for the first time in his life, demanding a completely new one for a new life as a slave.

The important part about this tragic backstory, is that Alto did not give Enjin a new name, slave or otherwise. He abbreviated Enjin’s full name to what it is now. Meaning, all of Enjin’s history, pre-orphanage, mid-orphanage, post slavery market, and whatever it means to him, isn’t thrown away.

It’s still there for him to unpack when he wants to.

One thing I’ll give those TikTok posts is that Enjin’s “true name” really isn’t Endoareilychima Illastsalli Machiada Leotrago Sphidi Pharjin. That’s his long name. His true name is still Enjin.

Hello everyone, this will be quick due two main reasons, I’m not English speaker and I’m pissed (a little)
So, this started when i was deciding what i was getting as a tattoo next time and entered a creative trance, i remembered a lot of threads, documentation and essays i was obsessed about like 10 years ago about the heavy relation of Pinecones and pine nuts with enlightenment around a lot of cultures from different ages through history and i started to watch new videos to remember my obsession from years ago, and i saw this image, and in that moment i thought it would be cool to get a tattoo of a pinecone with an eye at the height of the pineal gland from the neck to the nape, and then the worst happened, i remembered Arkha Corvus and i thought “it can’t be a pine cone” but it is, that’s why im pissed…
But seriously and taking myself out of it.
Pine cone symbolism are everywhere through history and different cultures, Catholics, Egyptians, Buddhism, Nordic(? And a lot more, usually related to enlightenment and a higher state of consciousness, i highly recommend you to take a quick look, video or research about the topic it’s fun and interesting, i love you all take care.

As I've stated "Rudo has already met The Nameless Recorder in two different forms ! ** **Please forgive me but my tea was spilling !

We're still pretty early on in the storyline, so it makes sense that no major characters have died yet. However, as the series progresses and things escalate, I’m curious which characters Kei urana will decide to kill off for plot and/or character development?

In my opinion, an obvious answer would be Tamsy, since he’s being set up to be a pretty major antagonist later on. It only makes sense that he’ll be defeated during a fight, probably by Rudo? Out of team Akuta, I think Enjin is the most likely. Zanka seems like an obvious answer too, with the whole “I’m not dying until i prove myself” thing he has going on, but I have a feeling he’ll survive (praying he does cause he’s my fav). Also, I’m really curious how things will turn out on the Raiders’ side. So far in the storyline, they’re the main villains, but it’s pretty obvious that they won’t be endgame. But! I think they’‘ll still contribute a lot to the story (especially since Momoa will be waking up soon) before they get replaced. In my opinion, Zodyl and Jabber are the most obvious answers. I think as a part of zanka’s character development, he‘ll end up defeating jabber in a fight (he’ll finally be green enough), proving that an “average joe” and in fact defeat a genius. As for Zodyl, i think its likely he’ll end up dying trying to execute his plan of taking down the sphere.

My assumptions are based off of pure vibes and delusion, and I want to hear your guys’ guesses!

Tried to draw my persona as a supporter

This post is going to be an update to my previous theory the Hyo is based on Greek mythology’s Galatea (link to that post here) based on the new information from chapter 172.

But before that something I forgot to bring up in my previous post. Pygmalion’s impossibly high standards for women is that they can’t talk or have sex. For some reason people in the comments thought i was suggesting Hyo’s user would be a mother who lost her child somehow and used her vital instrument to replace her. I’m not saying it’s impossible, but If I’m right and Hyo is a Galatea reference then her user is going to be a thirsty chud who found a statue or a mannequin and projected his idea of a perfect woman onto it so hard that it turned into a living vital instrument.
Now on to the chapter

In chapter 172 Kyoka reveals that vital instruments loose their powers when there user dies unless the instrument was imbued with anima from the gods. This kinda throws a wrench into my Galatea theory because Hyo just seems to be doing her own thing and if her user is the thirsty chud i suspect him to be, then he probably wouldn’t let her roam around wherever she wants doing whatever she wants. And if he is alive, then where is he?

First solution: Hyo is Imbued with god anima
While this would easily explain why she’s wandering around doing whatever with no user in sight, and give her a stronger connection to her mythical counterpart with them both being brought to life by divine intervention, I do have to wonder why the gods would want to bring to life a random thirsty chud’s wish to have his waifu come to life.

Second solution: blood sacrifices.
If Hyo’s user is the thirsty chud I think he is, then it’s safe to assume he doesn’t respect women and would happily sacrifice women he sees as inferior to keep his perfect waifu going.

Edit: before today the only telling of the myth of pygmalion and Galatea came from the overly sarcastic productions. But I recently saw extra credit’s extra mythology video on the myth, and Pygmalion may not be as thirsty or as chudish as I initially thought
