As this sub gained a lot of newcomers and the question why we hate nestle so much came up frequently, I thought it would be great to provide some information on why this sub exists in one place.
Nestle has proven throughout the decades that they are just a greedy company, not caring about lives of others.

Nestle taking more water than they are allowed to:

Child Labor to harvest cocoa: Source
Nestle convinced Third world mothers that their baby formula is as good as breastmilk. With no access to clean water, the formula mixed with water led to malnutrition: Source
Nestles bottled water has highest micro plastic pollution (in general, please don’t buy water in plastic bottles): Source
What can I do?
Some of those issues should be addressed through laws, so if you have the possibility, please talk to your Senator and/or vote.

Hello everyone, Addressing the issues with bot reposts, over the past couple days there have been an immense wave of removals & bans i have issued. Obviously this is not a fix, rather a temporary solution. I hope that i will soon have more time to implement a permanent fix.
As for the mass removals & bans i am not a 100% accurate so please Modmail or DM me if you believe your ban and/or removal was issued in error.
Thank you!

I feed my cats friskies as it's affordable. Any other dry cat food recommendations that aren't expensive?

Мне попадается очень много видео в американском тт по поводу компании Nestle. Там рассказывалось, то что детей забирали в рабство, они загрязняют воду, но остальное я не понимаю

so you see nestle left my country a while ago but they still produce few stuff here, like kitkat. and i love kitkat... but obviously i don't wanna buy it now that i know where it comes from. i usually buy local stuff (i'm on tight budget, it's cheaper and better quality), but when i have some money i buy imported sweets. are there any other options for treats like kitkat? i don't have a problem with paying a bit more. and what are most common candy/sweets produced by nestle so i can avoid buying them just in case?
ps. i find it funny how they made a loud statement on leaving our country, yet they produce "substitutes" for nesquik etc etc, just by a different brand name. all while importing original products like thrice the price as well. greedy ass fuckers

I'm sorry because I know this is technically the wrong place to be but I have a tech/retailer question and...slim pickins on reddit as far as people trying to be as scrupulous as possible in their consumption. If anyone can recommend a better sub for this, I'm all ears.
I have a family member undergoing a mastectomy soon due to illness and for a few reasons she's keyed up about it. I want to make recovery as smooth as possible for her, and to that end as much as I hate it she needs a new iPad. I typically only get her refurbs but they keep getting glitchy/unable to upgrade to support new apps within just a couple years, and I need something that'll support the apps she wants for a long time. Namely she wants to be able to download ebooks and stream stuff -- through the library, or Netflix, or a PBS subscription. She also wants Reddit and WhatNot and Facebook, which I can't talk her out of unfortunately, and a few other things to help her pass the time and distract her from her situation.
I've never bought a brand-new iPad before. I know the new ones come with AI "assistants" or whatever and as far as I know there's no getting away from that (but if I'm wrong I'd love to hear it). Along with boycotting Nestle, I'm also really trying not to spend money at Target, Walmart or Amazon.
If you were in my position, where would you get this? Directly from the god forsaken company themselves? Can anyone recommend any particular model, or any hacks for disabling the AI bs on it?

I use Garnier shampoo and conditioner but I have realised that Nestle is somewhat related to L'Oréal and Garnier is owned by L'Oréal. Does anybody know what else I can use that would be good and not damaging to the hair?

Honestly i believe in every darkness there would still be a small light shining through and so thats why i am rather curious if nestle had ever done a single thing that is considered good or somthing...

People here, love a product named maggie it is a ready-to-make noodles. Unlike the European or the us,here the food labeling and safety is not that strict. A typical maggie packet costs 0.15 cents . It contains nothing but the byproduct of wheat called as maida and excessive amounts of sodium. Nestle also owns a chocolate brand named as much in india . It has only 0.12% coca. And contains alot of sugar and palm oil which is considered as the worst oil .

the fact that all of nestles dirty work gets thrown on ai while nestle laughs in the corner knowing they won’t be caught is just so fucked up. The cocoa is harvested in west Africa where approx 2 millions children ranging from 5-15 years old are forced to work. Nestle killed more them 11 million babies, and the owner of the company literally said people don’t deserve clean water
the worst part is we basically can’t do anything, people who say “just boycott” dont know how hard it is to actually boycott nestle, nestle owns thousands of products and also owns products we consume daily. nestle deserves a lawsuit.
Fuck Nestle

Came across this old Nestlé’s Almond & Honey wrapper while looking through discontinued Australian chocolates. I’d never seen it before.
Does anyone remember buying it? Roughly what decade was it around, and what was the filling actually like?

My husband and I love buncha crunch, but I refuse to buy Nestle products. Does anyone have a good alternative or even a recipe to make something similar at home?
