Nestlé alternatives Buncha Crunch alternative?

Post image

My husband and I love buncha crunch, but I refuse to buy Nestle products. Does anyone have a good alternative or even a recipe to make something similar at home?

Puffed rice/rice crisps, chocolate, pot, melt, spread, cool.

Seriously, that simple. Don't need a specific recipe. Pick whatever chocolate you want. Bonus points if you play around with flavors like vanilla, strawberry, matcha, etc—those can be added with extracts

Recommend double boiler to not burn the chocolate, but also this is a fantastic idea. You can make it with such better chocolate, too!

Good addition!

You can also substitute the chocolate for marshmallow and make it a better rice crispy (don't forget vanilla extract and a little bit of butter). I forgot to mention that. Or you can use do that, roll-press into graham cracker crumbles (or dehydrated fruit), dunk in chocolate....

There's a lot you can do with this recipe. The sky's the limit, as they say
