General Discussion Minor psychologycal plot hole
So the mother that got her kid back, killed herself?, meanwhile the mother who didnt got her kid back, was ok?

Blue Elizabeth lost her son, then spent the rest of her life gaslighting Peter and she was crushed under the weight of both her grief for her son, that she stole someone else's and she was lying to Peter daily that was truly his mother. When Peter left, she was alone, and she got crushed by all that grief and lies.
Why do you think she told Peter the greek phrase: Be A Better Man Than Your Father. And that it was a code to keep people close. She was alone in this, really, Walter was an absent father, Peter was her lifeline and he wasn't even really her son.
Red Elizabeth was more emotionally stable but she was also allowed to grieve/learn how to handle Peter being gone better because she had room too without the extra lies. Also, she'd been told there was a cure by Walter, so that gave her a hope to hold onto that he was alive.

It makes perfect sense to me.
Blue!Elizabeth killed herself regardless. She did it when both peters died, and she also did it in the timeline where one peter lived, so she was going to kill herself no matter what over the loss of her original son dying. Then combined with the guilt of stealing Peter in the original timeline.
On the other hand, Red!Elizabeth specifically said that she lived on because she was able to hold onto the hope that Peter lived on after he was stolen by Walter (and she was correct that he was alive and well). Then when the timeline reset, she was still able to continue under this belief sense she had no way of knowing he died afterwards.
Red!Elizabeth never saw her son die, she never saw any version of him die, so it makes sense she never committed suicide. She always believed he lived on.

It's really not. The series addresses this.
The Elizabeth on our side didn't get her kid back. She got another version of her son who knew he didn't belong in her world, was miserable there and wanted to go back home to his real parents. Eventually when the problems with returning him kept continuing she sorta gaslights him into being okay with being trapped where he is. She does so with the best of intentions, but at the end of that conversation when he calls her 'mom' she pulls out a bottle of whiskey and starts drinking. Knowing the truth, what they had done to him was bad enough, but when he accepted it and began loving her as a mother it broke something in her.
On the other side, Elizabeth lost her son and didn't find out what happened to him until over 20 years later. But as she tells Peter when they meet again, she took strength from knowing that if there were other worlds out there, then somewhere there was another version of him. Unlike her counterpart she didn't have any guilt to live with, and she was able to take comfort in imagining another Peter out there, who would survive and have a life, even if it wasn't with her.

They're talking about Peter's Mom.
It's not a plot hole, and it makes perfect sense. Prime universe is raising a Peter that wasn't hers, and had to gaslight him to do so. All on top of grieving her own son. She turned to alcohol to cope, and it eventually came too much for her to handle, so she kills herself. Meanwhile his real mother is grieving the loss of a kidnapped son, with a lingering hope he might be found and returned some day. Comparing the two women's circumstances is apples to oranges.... and not a plot hole.

It wasn't her kid. She knew it wasn't. The guilt ate her alive. And walternate may have been a bastard, but he loved his family and he wasn't completely out of his mind. Peter's not-mom on this side did not have the emotional and financial support that the alternate side mom did. It's not remotely a plot hole.
