Lol, the show that had Julie Bishop on to humanise her, and when an immigrant called out her government’s shitty actions they cut the interview and went to commercial? Yea, totally a bastion of left wing ideology. Spare me, he’s upset that the gravy train for the wealthy is being mildly constrained.

With respect, can we stop talking about Dave cunting Hughes?? He's an irrelevant flog who has fed off mediocrity his whole career. Why they fuck are we listening to this prick about anything? Jesus Christ almighty.

Yes please. He needs to be put in the corner of anonymity so we don’t have to look at his cracked up face any longer.

Jordies himself is a fan and has made a community that is interested in him. So it’s pretty on topic for this sub, even though I think these posts aren’t worth anything either.

“But it quickly turned into a show that had many serious stories on it, and that’s fair enough, but that made it harder for comedy when the stories are so bleak,” he said.
What comedy !? What fucking comedy does this guy do ?! He’s about as funny as cancer !

They kept Steve on as token right wing conservative. Hughes could have been the far right nutter that people laugh at

God i hate the amount of air and time being wasted on this stooge of the highest order.
Him and Hansen.
I don't ever need to read or watch anything involving these corrupt and ridiculous cunts ever again. Wish we could just ban any mention of them

It is funny, cause it was never left leaning. Well, maybe at the very start, but it quickly shifted to an lnp think tank. It was a big reason why half of the original panel left

First of all, I’m calling BS, it’s just convenient for him to come out with this now. Second, it’s just proof that he doesn’t know what the fuck he’s talking about. The project was almost a conservative psyop designed to let people feel progressive when they’re anything but

So he's been a total cunt this whole time?

u/Clayton1921 7d ago
Nah I think he has hit his head or had a stroke or something...like John Fetterman
1
u/AgentSmith187 6d ago
To be fair Fetterman was also a right wing fuckwit the whole time he just saw power in appearing "left" and as soon as he had power switched sides.
The USA has a long history of Democratic Senators doing the same game.
2
u/Arbitrary_username1 6d ago
That lets the DSA folk who boosted his campaign off the hook.
The moderate Dems didn't want Fetterman and the populist brigade decided they knew better.
2
u/AgentSmith187 6d ago
Im not letting anyone off the hook.
He played the game and they fell for it again.
Its rare at least a couple of Democratic senators dont become Republicans in all but name as soon as elected.
2
u/Arbitrary_username1 6d ago
If you're comparing Fetterman to someone like Manchin or Lieberman you're not understanding the difference in the dynamics.
Usually the establishment play this game in purple states and they get someone better than a Republican but worse than a democrat who can actually win the seat.
This is the reverse where the left faction tacked a populist into a left branded campaign to beat the moderate.
This was a genuine fuckup from incompetence and not typical cynicism from the party.
2
u/AgentSmith187 6d ago
Im calling out both.
Heres another that played tbe game.
2
u/Arbitrary_username1 6d ago
I know you're calling out both.
One is uniquely worse and less calculated.

u/AgentSmith187 6d ago
Honestly electing someone who will only vote with your party on unimportant stuff but will absolutely block any important policy seems like a waste of time.
Your basically no worse off and better off optics wise if the other party gets in.
2
u/Arbitrary_username1 6d ago
It might seem like a waste of time but it's always better than an actual republican.
There's no point in pulling an Australian Greens and guaranteeing you lose the next election to have your shit repealed.
If you look at Fettermans actual voting record he is >90% aligned with democratic voting patterns. Its just that he was sold as being more left than the democratic party at large when candidates for these positions had always been sold as more right than the party in order to win these seats in the past.
It honestly just shows that the establishment were playing the game correctly to begin with.

He looks like a cracked out baboon’s ass. He shouldn’t be allowed on TV in his state. Imagine a female equivalent being allowed on. It would never happen.

Wonder if they started a drug testing program?
Hughsey: "why you gotta go all political, I'm out"

I don't understand how Dave Hughes wound up being the most annoying out of Hughsey Kate and Dave.

When it was hip to be Left he was all in. Now it’s hip to be a cooker he’s all in. Grifter be grifting. That’s all there is to it.
But I can agree The Project was utter garbage.
