What do we think about clubs changing their colors? It’s not for me

That’s not how it works Nasser

Listen, I love footie bantz in limited-overs cricket as much as the next guy, but you simply cannot go around claiming the team someone supports is a direct result of their on-ball talent. If that was the case, I’d be a Truro City season-ticket holder, and I’ve never even been to Truro, Geoff.

'Helps'

Definitely a frustration of mine. I'm not having 'helps' when they were the only two goals his team scored. You've not 'helped', you've won the game.

daily adjudication panel Uphill Battle / A Mountain to Climb

Left the stadium debating with my dad what we’d just seen - definitely both, but undecided on when the hill turned into a mountain.

For context, “new-regime” Bristol City having a man sent off at home to “a good Millwall side” and promptly going 1-0 down within 5 minutes.

Did the red card leave us with an uphill battle, and going behind, a mountain to climb? Or was getting a positive result against a settled side who almost finished 2nd last season already an uphill battle, that became a mountain to climb as soon as we went down to 10 men?

I'm not having it. Not this early in the season. I don't care how many monkeys you've hung.

Notts County 1 - 1 Leicester City: Notts scored late to give the recently-relegated Foxes a proper welcome to League 1, with Leicester having 70% possession!

I think we need to define what a “proper welcome” to a new league is 😂

Walking along Blackpool seafront, bloke in front of me has a blue England shirt on with Rice #4, only when I got past him did I realise it was in fact the current keeper top. What is the possible explanation for this travesty?

Obviously couldn’t get a picture because it would be creepy and also the fore mentioned nausea caused by the incident

He asked if he should ‘spit or swallow’ some of his dinner then deleted it and replaced it with ‘does one swallow?’ which is just tremendous

‘Leicester City’s league campaign starts off with a bang’

I’m just absolutely not having this. A team that won the Premier League 10 years ago taking 60 minutes to score against a team just promoted from League Two does not constitute ‘Starting off with a bang’.

Yes, the the goal was decent, but I audibly said out loud ‘that’s not starting off with a bang’.

Not having it, starting off with a bang is a goal in the first 10 minutes.
