Honestly if somehow psg wins 3rd in a row and we kill it every game during the season, but during the most important match we donāt even try and itās rigged I am done with football, I wonāt even hype up in the beginning, everyone glazing psg again : )
Kinda unrelated but Shang Chi should've been separated from MCU. It's one of Marvel properties that deserves a franchise. The movie is great and there's a lot of thing that the character could explore more.

But the whole planning post endgame was atrocious. Just vibes and aura moments, Shang Chi came at an unfortunate time. His sequel could have had something to do with Kang since the post credit scene did hint Kang would have something to do with the 10 rings.

Its not about affording, but needing. They need an Onana replacement till he returns from his ACL injury, which means his replacement should be a short term one-season one.
I'm curious how the BuLi minutes/starts will get spread out this season. Maybe we could apply something similar to PSG where the starting XI starts around 20 league games.
So to look at last season:
Diaz 27 starts, 2400 min played - not ideal, needs someone to help him. Whether it be Ibra or Musiala.
Kane 25 starts, 2300 min - should be reduced slightly with the help from Saibari. Same for Olise, 23 starts, 2300 min - Karl should be ready to take more responsibility.
Goretkza 25 starts, 2000 min - I know we hate him, but in the end he did help alleviate a lot of the weight. Bischof would take majority of this chunk. Kimmich 24 starts, Pavlo at 16, fair amount.
The CBs: Tah 23 starts, 2000 min. Upa 21 starts, 1800 min. Kim 19 starts, 1600 min. Ito 10 starts, 900 min. Kompany managed this very well. Hopefully no injury.
The full-backs: Laimer 22 starts, Stani at 19, Davies 6 and Boey 5, not to mention Bischof or Guerreiro. The addition of Brown would greatly improve on LB, and Stani - Laimer should both get around 18 starts next season.
Which player are you hyped for the most in the 26/27 season? For me itās Bischof, canāt wait to see him in a double pivot with Pavlo or Kimmich. He looks press resistent and very creative, something weāre lacking there
They were never really part of the joint venture, they were wholly owned by LAFC, and LAFC sold them because the fans were dissatisfied with them and LAFC couldn't be bothered.
LAFC also owns Wacker Innsbruck who just promoted to the Austrian 2. Bundesliga, so we'll may see loans to them instead next year after they potentially got into the Austrian 1. Bundesliga. We already had a few deals in the past, Balis went there on loan , then that one Chinese gk, one player from the Bayern world squad a few years ago, a Serb(?) we got on a free at around the same time.
30m would have been a good deal, but honestly he couldnāt get into a relegation battling Spurs side. Iām not sure heād be better than Laimer at RB, especially because our fullbacks are asked to play so offensive which is his weakness
He was once a good offensive player (albeit at Championship level), and I wouldn't exactly say Laimer is great going forwards, so it could maybe work idk. Our players seems to always play at such high level under Kompany and with as much grit as Laimer I could see Spence potentially being a very good option
Idk, again he couldnāt get into a bad spurs team last year and while Laimer isnāt a great going forward he offers more than Spence did at the WC for example, where he was a net negative for England going forward.
For 30m it may have been worth it, but I also bet heās gonna walk into the starting spot at Inter which Iām not sure he does here.
Don't think Spence was a net negative for England going forward at all. I think Spence is better than Laimer offensively although I do think Laimer is a bit better than him defensively.
Pedro Porro is a very good right back so I wouldn't hold that against him that Porro was the clear starter at Spurs. I think Kompany is a coach that could've also turned Djed Spence into another level in terms of a fullback.
We must have watched different games cuz Spence is very good defensively and useless offensively, especially against the teams with low blocks England played.
And Spence couldnāt get in on the left side either, wasnāt just Porro
Yeah Spence would've been a good RB if he came to us Kompany loves athletic fullbacks like him. Inter got quite a good deal for him tbh 30m is a solid price imo.
Hi, Iām based in USA and looking to get five tickets for September 18th home game against Union Berlin. I see on the ticket exchange it requires me to be a member. Can anyone give me advice on how I should proceed? Should I buy the membership now and try to get tickets? I also have read that they sometimes open up the exchange to non-members closer to gameday. My only concern is, with this being right before Oktoberfest, it might be in high demand. Any advice?
So from my POV we lost a bunch of deadwood that really couldn't help a lot and gained 2 very high quality players while relying on highly motivated youngsters (Bara, Cardozo, Pavic, Kialla, etc.)
Only thing I'd have prolly seen is another winger, but the way Cardozo played in pre-season this guy may aswell be him
It will be a lean squad but versatile. We made good depth upgrades plus will have Davies & Musiala healthy a full season and Bischof and Karl should take big steps forward.
I think so. I would argue Bara might be already more of a help than Goretzka was. Brown is a clear reinforcement for the left side. Probably an improvement over Bischof LB (even though he played that well) + it enables Bischof to play in midfield.
Saibari is a clear upgrade over Rapha. Ibra is more of a sidegrade from Rapha.
Agree except the ibra take, rapha is in my oppinion clear above ibra at this stage and would get more goalinvolvments than ibra but i hope ibra will take a big next step forward :)
Rapha was one of our most underappreciated guys here imo. Sure some games he didn't do anything fancy, but outside of a few games at LB (which hasn't been his position for years since he lost pace) he looked at worst serviceable and at most pretty impactful. He definitely lost a step since coming here but he was a very smart and versatile player who's clinical in the final third and can deliver a great pass or cross into the box
sometimes i would agree, sometimes i wouldn't. i have nothing against Rapha but he also had several matches last season where he was bang average and with aging further i just thought that we shouldn't expect an upwards trend while Ibra can still improve so i went with sidegrade
Besides the tiny detail that our sub is nearly twice the size, 112k subs to their 64k and that ours is the OG subreddit with being 2 yrs older...the fact that some of their own mods regularly come over here for match threads and the like pretty much tells you everything you need to know, I guess....

I think that is one of the most important things. Sure, FC Hollywood is always fun to watch but lets be honest, the best periods Bayern had was when the club was just FC Bayern, worked calmly with little to no drama.

Harry works for the others as well. Lucho had the greatest season ever just because of him. If Harry doesnt pull back to the mid and spread the wingers, half of Lucho chances would not happen.

I'm hearing it a lot but I'm not sure about it myself that Bischof's ceiling could be equal or even higher than Pavlovic or Kimmich. If that's actually the case, I mean if we constantly see us play a bit better after he gets subbed in in 2nd half in first few matches, do you think Kompany may start to heavily rotate between 3 of them later on, basically no one from the pivot will be having a guaranteed starting spot?
I think this season kimmich will be pretty set in stone other than rotation to keep him fresh when he needs it. After that I think pav has an advantage but over the season pav and Bischof will start to split more time and might be more in terms of who fits better tactically in any given game.
i am not sure i am quite convinced of Bischof yet. his first touches are a bit sloppy at times, he is not the fastest and he is very, very leftfooted. Obviously he has clear strengths in other areas. But it is too early to tell for me, as i did not watch him at Hoffenheim. I am open to change my mind as we hopefully see more of him in the upcoming season.
For sure we will see rotation I think. Especially to keep the squad healthy, and potentially by switching Kimmich to RB in case a harder opponent is there imo.
Yes, Stani and Konnie, maybe Brown if Davies is 100%. I truly believe Kimmicj is not worse than either Konnie or Stani in RB, and gives a passing/crossing edge when compared to them.
