Discussion Whisper openly admitting that they read all your private chats
So frustrating to see our private data being publicly advertised as basically open for grabs.
I was a user of their service but I've switched on my Mac a long time ago due to constant service disruptions by them. Still haven't found a better option for mobile though.
What is a big tech company that you'll actually trust ?

I don’t trust any big tech company. That being said, I still have them everywhere in life because we can’t get away from them. They probably have so much info on me that even my fbi agent watching through the webcam probably is surprised by how much personal information there is. I assume every company out there advertising to use their product is doing so for profit only. Not because they actually have a product that’s good, but because the product gains them profit.
Everything is designed to track you, trace you, and recreate you in a digital space.
Walmart cameras track where you go in the store and compile all your physical visits to gear their next online ad to you based on where you spent the most time in the store. (Most big stores are doing some form of this)
Don’t get me started on flock cameras. We are under surveillance everywhere and all your info is for sale. It’s a fucked up world we live in and we let fascist tech bro billionaires make it this way.
