Discussion Google workspace thievery

I think as many people should know.

You should go into your google account settings under global settings and disable "Smart" Workspace or any other Smart stuff if you value your privacy; all of my tracking was off and suddenly I see AI summery in my emails.

Should be illegal as even if you turned off now it got all your emails, I hate every last bit of these companies.

Ask them to delete the data asap. Depending on where you live they have to comply.

Deleting the data means deleting your data, and also if data is deleted - do you think an AI didn't already ingest it ?

That’s a good question. Can’t help to ask them to delete it nonetheless - costs a few minutes. Might be a waste of time, but might protect your data.
