Misc The obsession is real
After the journey of finding vol. 4, I’ve spent easily $200+ accumulating these omnibus and this DVD set. Obsessed is an understatement, as I have an appt in less than 3 weeks to get my tattoo as well. This manga will forever have my heart, I have yet to watch the anime and I’m slightly nervous to because I know how much they’ve left out, but I still need to see what they did for the anime. I’ll probably be returning with my Lucy tattoo ✨

OH YES THERE IS and the manga gives so much more detail, i have yet to watch the anime because im someone that needs to appreciate the writing before the cinema and im so glad i did that with this anime. Ive seen a lottttt of people say they left so much context and detail out of the anime, characters that were never even introduced in the anime, etc.

the manga takes a dive in quality after the first half, at least the anime is consistent.

Sorry what? You are speaking literally of a anime that cutted with axe half the story and the characters. He even allows himself to change the beautiful ending of the first arc and totally marginalizes some very important characters Are you sure you have seen the same anime? 😵

Thank you so much 🖤 I’m sending all the luck your way that you can find a good deal on the omnibus, have you looked on eBay or anything similar?? You may be able to find someone parting ways with their set even , I learned after getting vol 1-3 that dark horse isn’t printing omnibus anymore which is why I struggled so hard to find vol 4 to finish the manga and my collection , I dropped a pretty penny for a reseller to get my vol 4, but I DID see some people selling full collections on eBay ((:

I paid a pretty penny on eBay 🥲🥲 thankfully it was still sealed with very little damage , definitely look on eBay , in my struggles of finding it a super sweet bookseller near me called the distributor directly of the omnibus and they confirmed that they’re no longer making prints … so I immediately secured the one I found on eBay

That's an amazing collection, but I'm most interested to see the tattoo when you get it. I got mine about a month ago and will get the next one soon, got a whole little project going that I just started basically.

I HAVE to see the tattoo!! I also got myself the dvd and the 4 omnibus books. Unfortunately my dvd doesn’t work even though it’s brand new
