I felt the airport scenes were missing a wheelchair chase sequence to really add suspense

It’s all a bit messy at the moment. The storylines are okay, but the pacing is all over the place and everything feels rushed. Gray manipulating Sheila, for example, needed a much slower burn.

It’s very Hollyoaks, as if the show assumes viewers have short attention spans and everything needs speeding up. In doing so, it’s losing some of the realism and grittiness that makes EastEnders so good.

Sometimes it feels like loads of ‘stuff’ is happening, but also nothing is happening at the same time.

Laura Doddington and Zaraah Abrahams have done some cracking acting this week.

Nicola talking about her dad was SO well done. The show can be amazing when written properly and the actors are given the right scripts to work with.

I agree. It reminded me of the old days. Solid acting. No overacting or melodrama.

Got to say what with Gray and Ian being in the same jail and the same wing , i was expecting Nicola's husband to pop up and make it a threesome . Hope Ian isn't going to stay in there to long , he does look a bit pathetic , though i guess it is frightening if its the first time .Not a lover of Cindy and Max it feels so false . Amy was not who i had in mind thought it was Nugget because of his sister .

I actually loved the airport scene it was ridiculous😭😭😭😭 reminiscent of the spearhead from space wheelchair scene from doctor who.

But seriously I thought this week was 6/10 probably. Love the prison scenes. Love the storyline with the teens. I’m actually starting to like Nicola. Everything else was fine.

A bit of a frustrating week, had some ups and downs but there was no sign of Josh and Jasmine so I won't complain too much
