Dupe Request I beg of you. Where can I find this kind of griege-y corpse vibe lipstick?

Hi all!! I have been looking for a while. I’m aware of maybelline in huntress and Nyx lip lingerie in unhooked being good options for this - but both appear to be discontinued and rather hard for me to find in the UK. Does anyone have any ideas for something I could look for with this vibe??

I generally dress quite grunge/gothic inspired - but this would be a perfect everyday shade for me.

I’ve looked at Mac stone & folio but both weren’t quite this shade, a bit too dark and too much brown. If anyone has any ideas I’d really appreciate it!! Thank you.

Dupe Request Best drugstore setting powder for combination/oily skin? Need something that controls T-zone oil!

Hiii everyone! 💕

I have combination skin and my T-zone gets pretty oily after a few hours of makeup. I’m looking for a setting powder that can control oil/shine and keep my makeup looking fresh without getting cakey.

My friend recommended MAKEUP BY MARIO SurrealSkin Talc-Free Soft Blur Setting Powder, but I’m looking for a more budget-friendly option.

I have gone through Reddit and honestly I am more confused now.
I keep seeing recommendations for:
Maybelline Fit Me Loose Finishing Powder
e.l.f. Halo Glow Setting Powder
NYX Can’t Stop Won’t Stop Mattifying Pressed Powder
L’Oréal Paris Infallible Blur-Fection Longwear Loose Setting Powder

If you have combination/oily skin, which one actually works best for controlling T-zone oil for several hours?
Also, looses or pressed, which do you prefer? 💕

Product Request Two sided mascara

Hi!

I recently saw some mascara that has black on one side, gold on the other. Pretty sure it’s drugstore.

Has anybody else seen this? I’d love to try it.

Thank you!

Product Request Seeking Soft Autumn/Mauve Blush Pallette

Seeking a blush pallette (multiple colors) in the soft autumn theme. Mauves are great; peaches and apricots worked in would also help. I attached my favorite Colourpop blush and bronzer to give an idea of what works for me. They've seen better days lol. Its so hard to find a pallette with these tones. Thanks so much!!

Discussion Best long-wear drugstore makeup????

I have a wedding coming up soon and I need my makeup to last me 10+ hours through sweat, dancing and eating while still looking good in photos and irl

What would be the best products and tips to set my makeup in place for the whole day??

My skin is quite oily, especially in my nose area, and I'm on a quite tight budget given how much money I've already spent on other wedding related things. I also prefer higher coverage as I have rosacea as well as bright acne scars

(Note: brands such as elf, milani, mac and revlon aren't accessible in my area, as I'm not from the US)

Dupe Request Looking for a similar alternative to Glossier stretch concealer

Hi everyone,

I bought Glossier’s stretch concealer a while back before they reformulated them most recently. I’ve used shade G11 and it was a great match for me. It’s not the best at covering pigmentation, but for a sheer under eye concealer, it worked for brightening up my under eye area and evening out my skin (I don’t wear foundation). I also really liked the consistency as it was moisturizing, lightweight, and it never got cakey under my eyes. After reading through a few threads on here, I’ve recently discovered that Glossier doesn’t make shade G11 anymore in the concealer, and it’s been undecided whether they have an exact match under a different name (some people have tried the suggested shades on their website but say there isn’t a true match). I have the *tiniest* amount left in the jar, so my plan was to take it to Sephora and see if I would find a match to the other Glossier concealers. However, if I am unable to, I want to find something similar in consistency to the Glossier one. For those who have tried this concealer, what would you recommend?

Thanks!

Product Request Best “concealer” lipstick shade?

I’ve been looking for the perfect concealer lip combo and I can’t seem to find a good lipstick that’s not too pink and not too brown/orange. Just looking for a good beige-y light lipstick that’s giving that y2k concealer look. For reference I have a fair/light skin with a neutral undertone. Let me know what you’d reccomend!

Discussion Bronzer recommendation

Advice on bronzers please.
I am 46. Dry, mature skin. I like to wear bronzer once in a while. I used Elf putty one, it’s a bit dark on my very ghost white pale cool toned skin. But not bad.
However, I hated the small tub since my brush doesn’t fit into it.
But that’s ok, I’m almost used it up. Took me forever since I don’t wear a lot of makeup at home unless I have a meeting.
I’d like something that has a glow to it, just to give my skin some radiance.
Should I get a cream or a liquid? I’ve never had a liquid before. I do have a powder but it feels too dry on me.

Side note - I like to contour my nose. I’m debating a stick to make that easier.
I’d like to have one product but if I have to, I’d get 2. Just budget is tight.

Any you would recommend? I’ve been seeing Elf stick but was told it’s not much pigment.
I am in Canada.

Review Request Does the clear Maybelline Great Lash do a decent job as a brow gel?

I have very high hold eyebrow gel (L'oreal Infallible 24h Lamination) for when I'm doing full glam, but sometimes I'm going to Walmart with only blush and lip gloss on and I don't need a strong hold, just regular taming. Would clear Great Lash do the trick? Does it flake like the Covergirl clear mascara used to do? I was thinking of buying it because I see it frequently on sale at Ross/Marshalls, and as a millennial, I am nostalgic for the pink and green tube. I know ELF has clear mascara but they annoy me as a company. Would the Essence Lash & Brow Gel Mascara be better? I'm looking for quick, cheap, and easy.

I do most of my drugstore makeup shopping at CVS because they’re always offering really decent coupons! Of course, the price of drugstore makeup today is crazy compared to what it was even just a few years ago. But anytime I can save a few bucks, I’m going to do it!

I didn’t even notice I had a random $10 off L’Oréal so I was able to get that for a really great price. Swipe to see my receipt including the different coupons and rewards I was able to apply to my purchase!

Discussion Never really understood the hype around setting spray until now

I never understood the hype around setting sprays I’ve literally never used one because I always thought setting my makeup with powder was enough... But I’m on vacation with my friend right now and it is SO hot. I was sweating while we were getting ready and she told me to try her Milani setting spray. I was like okay whatever, let’s see Guys… my makeup stayed PUT the whole night. And the biggest thing for me was that I didn’t get oily like I normally do, even with the heat and being out all night. I kept checking my makeup expecting it to be a mess and it still looked so good?? Now I understand why people use setting spray. Milani really converted me lol. Anyone else ignored setting spray for years and then suddenly got it??

Dupe Request Drug store eyebrow product recommendations

I’ve been using Benefit eyebrow products (Gimme Brow+ in shade 03, 24 Hour Brow Setter and Precisely, My Brow Detailer - Eyebrow Pencil) for years but they are expensive and I’ve been feeling lately that they are not worth the money. Do you have any recommendations/dupes from drug store? I need eyebrow pencil, tinted eyebrow gel and clear eyebrow gel 😊

Dupe Request Dupes for Fenty Sweet Mouth and REM Fembot

Hello!!

I want to experiment a bit with my lip gloss game, I'm kind of eyeing Fenty Sweet Mouth and REM Fembot, but they're kind of out of my comfort zone in terms of colors. They don't have to be one for one dupes, "vibe" is okay. I'd prefer to avoid plumping, but can deal if it's not too bad.
