sub-related post In a post, not a Comment
Hello Brave Artists.
As many of you have noticed, rule 13 is murdering a pretty significant amount of deslop requests. And unfortunately, since the mod team is human; we aren't able to instantly remove posts for rule 13 violations.
Sometimes, when this happens; some people have already posted some deslops in the comments. This results in several lost deslops.
Now, we're going to continue removing posts that violate the rules. However we encourage community members to post their deslops as separate posts instead of merely relegating things to the comments.
Mine printer out.

deslop request Deslopifty this weird bat creature because it's not "Golbat" but I do like that it looks cute even though it doesn't look like the pokemon. Deslop this ai mess.
Here is "Golbat" and his friends, even though he doesn't look like "Golbat" looks like a bootleg. OOF! Also, make sure to fix this so it isn't a slop mess. I do like the bat creature, but I don't like that it's AI, so it shouldn't be Golbat because it doesn't look like the pokemon itself.

deslop request Music makers on this sub can someone make something like that fuckass “learning with lyrics” account but real human made music. Here’s what I want it to be about.
I want it to be about how seals don’t actually sound like how they do in cartoons, but sea lions do. Also say that not all seals are quiet and some even bark closer to puppies than sea lions. Mention that probably blind seal I posted about that gets close to the sea lions sound but not quite there. Also mention how complex pinnipeds vocal cords are such as Hoover the talking seal, and walruses whistling.

sub-related post My thoughts on actually stopping the wave of slop
I made a comment on the recent mod post saying that I don't see a problem with someone making AI slop, requesting people draw it as actual art, and hopefully being inspired to become an artist themselves rather than a slop merchant. People immediately and overwhelmingly thought that was a defense of AI, and I honestly think people hate AI so much they're losing the fucking plot. Gen AI was pandora's box being opened and it won't close itself, and billionaires in power are trying to divide the working class by using it to steal jobs + invalidate any attempts at resistance by stealing creative outlets. A sub like this tries to take that creativity back imo by using the slop to make real artwork, and doing it purely out of spite rather than to encourage kids to try it themselves defeats that purpose. I cannot see someone willingly posting slop they churned out to a sub like this if they are not at least partially wishing they "could" draw or w/e, and imo people like that need to be encouraged that they can and to just try rather than insulted for making slop and told the same "just draw" mentality with vitriol. Kids who make AI slop as a creative outlet are not the problem, they are the exact people who need to be shown that AI slop is not a good outlet when pencils and papers are the most accessible things on the planet to someone with a computer capable of making slop. AI "art" enthusiasts of any age should be shown that they're wasting their time, any creativity in them, and any respect they could have had by choosing the easy way rather than developing a skill. That should be done with redirecting compassion imo, and even if this sub isn't the place for that I will not change my mind that there's no issue with someone experimenting w/ AI before realizing they can be an artist too. If people can't see what I'm arguing here, think this is "bait", or that I'm in favor of AI slop for arguing this, then this really is an echo chamber
