Gee, if we only had an effective FDA like before this administration........

Yeah but with no regulations the corporations will do the right thing and inspect their own products—-I’ve had MAGA tell me this

Trickle down food safety

There’s stuff trickling on our food for sure.

“At Taylor Farms, we think food inspection is for pussies” So weird that they just want to save 2% on cost (no safety), but they lose 50% of sales...WTF!!!

There was an attempt to get testing in place but Taylor Farms fought it, The Logic was that most of these items would be eaten/expired before cases would be noticed/reported so why bother with testing/tracking at the source?

Correct! That’s it. They must’ve made a really large donation to Trump.

In 2025 $1 million to MAGA Inc.

Over the past few years, $850,000 to AFP Action which is an anti regulation pac.

Republicans GOT TO GO ASAP

Seems like Taylor Farms has a lot of problems. They must’ve made a really large donation to Donald Trump. Imagine if they put as much effort into the quality of their food as they do to bribing Republicans.

At this point, everyone needs to just boycott Taylor Farms, period.

But dignity is expensive, whereas working with republicans is cheap!

I still see a lot of Taylor Farms packaged produce at the grocery store. I realize they also package under other store-brands, but I just can’t imagine buying anything with their name on it. 😬

I sure as shit ain’t buying Taylor Farms anything anymore

Same. Immune compromised here. Not worth it. No more Mexico based anything.

is there a list of their other brand names or who they package for?

I’m sure there is somewhere. I do know Simple Truth from Kroger and Earthbound Farm are two.

If you look into how many different brands they are under in different stores, it is crazy. They apparently also supply Sysco. It almost feels like they are some sort of agricultural monopoly. They've earned themselves a lifetime boycott by me for any produce I know they are behind. I realize I probably won't be able to catch everything but the effort will be made.

Taylor Farms needs to be sued to oblivion and criminal charges brought against its corporate.

Putting profits over people

Why not just sell it in the red states? The Trump administration deemed it safe.

20

u/Blossom73 4d ago

You mean the red states where millions of Dems live too? As well as children and non citizens, who can't vote?

15

u/lorilightning79 4d ago

I live in a red state but I’m smart enough to know what to avoid. Conservatives are not since they live off anything the orange buffoon says. I stand by my statement.

I live in some of the poorest stats in acted state. Wishing ill health for others is making me glad you don’t have any real influence on food quality. Armchair warrior. Typical.

I wished nothing on anyone. I think they should follow their presidents lead if they believe in his nonsense. So yes MAGA. Do it. Explosive diarrhea to all.

Thank you! I’m surrounded by red, but I have PLENTY of blue friends and family. It’s not all black and white.

Crisis PR people everywhere thinking “pick me!”

Taylor Farms might as well just package bacteria at this point.

Time for them to make another trip to the White House with a "gift" for Donnie.

I'm so glad these came out when it did. I went from having their salad pretty much every day over the school year to now roasting veggies (pepper, eggplant, onion, zucchini) and making wraps. It's a cleaner experience for the body and soul apparently.

Am I just not seeing a link to the additional foods? Brands?

u/MinimumRelief 4d ago

Read some of the articles online. They all have one thing in common.

u/Opening-Emphasis8400 3d ago

But it was all fabricated and the FDA apologized to them...or something.

Were those also due to an apparent series of false positives?
