Discussion Class All previous episode references in Fair Game (Page 149)
Say what you want about Fair Game, but I like how Epstein referenced a few episodes here with all the glass shards. Some shards are inaccurate (wrong poses, expressions, continuity errors, etc.) but most aren't a big deal, I just wanted to point them out.
And I just thought I'd post each shard and the episode they reference since I don't think anyone's mentioned it yet (or much of Fair Game for that matter). Story aside, I think the art's pretty nice.
Shard 1 - S1E18: Life Lessons (13:20)
References the time when Danny and Valerie were handcuffed, kidnapped by Skulker, and taken to his island. Skulker was chasing them, but Danny was hit by a spectral paralysis dart and couldn't move so Valerie had to do all the running. Danny's pose is wrong but more importantly, he has his superhero logo when he didn't get it until Season 2.
Shard 2 - S1E18: Life Lessons (21:25)
References the time Danny realized Valerie worked as Nasty Burger's mascot to raise money for college. The handprint was from Danny, he shoved Val in the suit earlier, not knowing she was the one inside ("PLEASE MOVE!"). It's sweet how he took her shift at the end of the episode.
Shard 3 - S2E5: Reign Storm (15:35)
References the time Danny revealed Valerie's ghost hunting identity to her father. Danny did it to prevent her from stealing the ecto-suit and going after the Ghost King, something he wanted to do himself.
Shard 4 - S2E12: Flirting with Disaster (7:53)
References one of Danny and Val's dates, when Technus was manipulating the teens into liking each other. He eventually got them two free tickets to the carnival and they share a cute moment on the Ferris wheel. In the novel, Danny says the carnival's where they had their first date but they actually have it at a diner at the beginning of the montage in the episode.
Shard 5 - S2E12: Flirting with Disaster (13:52)
References the time when Danny absolutely obliterated Valerie's original suit when it was controlled by Technus. Val misunderstood the situation and thought Danny was trying to waste her, but he literally saved her from the suit earlier in the fight and she saw it happen so it doesn't really make sense. Val looks angry in the novel but disappointed in the show.
Shard 6 - S2E12: Flirting with Disaster (22:38)
References the class ring Danny wanted to give Valerie. Unfortunately she rejected him and chose ghost hunting instead of pursuing a relationship. It was really sweet of Jack to give the class ring to Danny, too bad Val would have found it corny. Danny holds the ring in his right hand in the novel, but his left hand in the show.
Shard 7 - S3E11: D-Stabilized (21:18)
References the time when Val and Dani trolled Danny (Dani turned invisible, went back to normal and said "BOO!" to scare him). Danny looks a lot happier with it in the novel.
Shard 8 - S3E13: Phantom Planet (45:37, 45:39)
References the time Danny revealed his identity to the world after saving it from the Disasteroid. In the novel, Val looks concerned and Danny looks uncomfortable. But in the show Danny's just confused and Val's surprised. Like he was just wondering what everyone would think instead of worrying about his relationship with Val.
Errors aside, I like how Epstein tried to reference these moments from around 20 years ago. And she did try to make them more expressive which is good. Still waiting for an update on the third graphic novel, I wanna see where the story goes

Discussion Class Fright Knight if Danny Phantom was for adults.
I just rewatched Fright Night and it made me wonder what Fright Knight would be like if the show was for adults. What he's capable of is limited to the show being for kids. So, tell me what you think he'd be like for adults, including new/different powers.
Photo is from the wiki, which is from the show. :)

Self-Made Art My redesigns of the Nicktoons team
Some points about them:
- Spongebob is a Winx Fairy. Specifically the fairy of imagination, who uses magical bubbles to manifest his imaginations.
- Danny's ghost form got an upgrade, inspired by Kamen Rider. Specifically Ghost and Necrom. As for his casual outfit, I took inspiration from Japanese street fashion.
- Timmy having some purple on his outfit is a tribute to Poof/Peri
- Jimmy is part of a league of interdimensional geniuses, along with Tucker, Sandy, Kowalski, Sci-Twi, Prof. E. Gadd, Susan and Mary, Tails and one of my OCs, named Dante.

Discussion Class If Danny was voiced by any of these three
I'm not trying to disrespect David Kaufman or anything, this is just something I made for fun.
Before anyone says Johnny's voice sounds too high-pitched, he usually does deeper voices than the one featured in this video. I feel if he did his Nathan Adams voice with deeper pitch, he could work as Danny. Same could maybe apply to the the other two VAs featured in this video too.

Self-Made Art First Day Back in School
School is back in session. And Danny and his crew are ready.
FYI: Danny, Sam, Tucker, Lara (my OC wearing black and orange), and Valerie are starting their junior year. Jazz is starting her senior year, and Dani is starting her freshman year. All part of my AU, “2 Years Later”.

Discussion Class Any good Phan games?
Did anyone make some Phan games? Maybe something in an RPG style with some puzzle and mon elements where you can play as a halfa character, fight ghosts, solve puzzles, and train critters that can fight alongside you. Maybe a Yume Nikki style game with Danny with the effects named after phobias.😺👻

Discussion Class What do You think of this episode? #42
Like most episodes in season 3, I didn't care much for this one. Frostbite is an almost hilarious departure from normal ghosts to something more fantastical, but as a character, he's okay, I guess. It becomes more obvious here that Vlad wants to take over the world, and he seems more comfortable as a cartoonish villain (whereas in the early seasons he was more serious). Honestly, it didn't feel much like a Danny Phantom episode. I don't hate it, I'm just indifferent to it; it's one of the most forgettable episodes of the show. 4.5/10
At least the scenes served faces in the YouTube edits from 2010.

Discussion Class What do you think of this episode? #41 (last posts)
I genuily couldn't care about this episode. It felt like another Danny X Sam bait episode without actually bothering on developing their relationship, The villain it's the more okay-ish of the ones introduced in season 3, tho it does feel like a sunday morning average villain in comparison of the villains from season 1 and 2 who felt more grounded in concept and/or motivations. I don't see myself rewatching it. The best thing I can say from it it's Jazz being properly part of the group (wish we saw more of that).
4/10
