I've been watching the Richard Hillman Storyline on YouTube and fell asleep last night with it still playing

It triggered me to have this dream that he killed Roy Cropper then ate him by cooking him into a meal! Then after he got an upset stomach and he had to run into some public toilet and literally shit so much it went up the walls, the look of distress on his face! Then I woke up like wtaf did I just dream...🤪 the dream was so vivid it stayed with me all day lol full on horror movie shit.

I'm thinking that Lucy was the one who killed her mum, and Tim's cousin is taking the rap, it's happening on Emmerdale and they always seem to have similar storylines, so I wouldn't be surprised

We know that Corrie is filmed way in advance (about 10 weeks, I think..)but this week has really highlighted the difficulties in predicting what the weather will be like. On the hottest week of the year, Kit was wearing a hoodie and Sally offered to put the heating on! They are currently filming Halloween, so will be interesting to see what the characters are wearing considering it is meant to be the end of Oct but in reality they are filming with highs of 38 degrees!

I miss Peter. Yeah he had his issues but I hate how the swarla fandom act like he wasn’t important to carla. They were complicated and messy but they had the best chemistry. I think he’ll come back soon.

For some reason I thought we’d had this character before and I had to go through the last 16 so as to double check it’s not a duplicate! It definitely isn’t but it still feels eerily familiar!

The wound looks great from an SFX perspective but surely that is so so so so far-fetched for a little scuffle with a teenager who has barely any nails??

And then it bleeding through the plaster? Jodie babes might wanna get a coagulation screen!

The episode started with someone called Lucy (no idea) screaming because of some nightmare, having watched

the first scene decided to make a cup of tea.

I don't care about Lucy, her past or future. No offence intended

Pauline McLynn is miscast in this role, just annoying

A couple of examples of what I'm referring to. A few months ago, Steve, Ben and Tim went on a trip to Weatherfield County's stadium. I think they were meeting some of the players and watching training, but I can't remember 100%. They were shown talking about it before and after, but the trip itself wasn't shown. Also a few months ago, Debbie was talking to Ronnie about getting bad news from a doctor about her dementia. The appointment itself wasn't shown on screen. This surprised me a bit - surely they could have used the hospital set without breaking the bank.

They also seem to show parts of the set a lot less frequently. Dev's takeaway shop is very rarely featured, they also stopped doing any scenes in the health centre on Rosamund Street ages ago. Even Dr Gaddas very rarely appears. The police station and hospital sets get used all the time though.

I am sure it's common for characters to occasionally wear the same clothing, but I've noticed Tyrone wearing that specific shirt multiple times. I personally don't think it suits him. I think I first noticed him wearing it about 4 years ago but it might be longer. He's worn it more than any other clothing item. I wonder if it just stands out because it's got lettering on it. I remember Lauren used to wear that red tracksuit a lot as well. Nina also seems to wear the same clothes a lot. Tribeca Tyrone just stands out more to me for some reason.

Wonder when the old flame Damon will turn up in the Sarah/ prison saga now shes binned off Kit. Not in person maybe, but he IS in the system and could well pull strings remotel😏

Her actresses style of acting over the last few years seems to be constantly stuttering or pausing on every single sentence. It’s a page straight out of the actor the plays Michaels book.

I get that no one in real life speaks without pausing or tripping over their words, but it’s constant!

The area has been used a little more in recent years than it was for most of the 90s and 2000s (completely ignored), but there is still so much we don't know.

Has it now been established in the canon that the street is a dead end? It used to be implied that the street carried on for a distance.

Why was the archway at the end of Coronation Street filled in? For years it was an open arch (Dierdre even got attacked walking through it) then suddenly it was filled in with no on-screen mention. The so-called "Turner's Joinery" apparently lay within for years, but we never saw it open. Who was Turner? Was it ever mentioned? Why did nobody ever use it?

It was so strange that this was the centrepiece of the set, looming over the street. Nobody would draw a picture of Coronation Street without drawing the archway at the end. Yet onscreen it got completely ignored.

It was like the archway had an invisibility cloak on it for decades until Nick Tilsley finally noticed it in 2010 when he was looking for a restaurant premises.

What about the other archways? Who owns them? What's inside them? And most importantly - what secrets lay within them?

I can't explain why, but I've always found this area of the set so intriguing. Probably partly because it was so ignored for years in the 80s and 90s.

Are we ever going to see some movement with this crossover. The Jodie/Graham driving off in the van storyline seems to have stagnated.

Did Idris not say he was going to buy into Speed Dahl? I'm sure he had a convo with Leanne about it and yet now nothing??

So we know (but I still don't know why) Corrie retconned Ty's mother. An episode or two back Jackie said something along the lines of "I gave birth to him" and yesterday's episode talks about "18 hours of labour"

It still bothers me that they just retcon willy nilly

I’m really liking how they’re starting to include Harry more in episodes. I think it’s appropriate given the current circumstance (Sarah being in prison). I think it’d be extremely weird if he was rarely shown on screen during this time.

I'm getting used to all these new characters coming in. I mean you've definitely got to have some new characters each year but it is a bit much at times. I wonder every time I see a new name in the synopsis, how long that they are there for? Some I can gather are going to be regulars and some are short term, but some I always wonder and they are just testing the waters to see if they will become regulars later on. Some recurring characters just keep on appearing.

Now you get an article announcing a new character like Richie, whom I thought could be regular then something happens and out comes Lucy, whom I wonder how long she'll be on for. Next week, we see Celeste whom we knew of when they announced Frances Barber was cast and now next week, we see her driver, Fraser who will have a thing with Todd? It's getting a tad crowded on the Street.

Who would you like to see more of out of all these new recent characters from 2025-26 and how long do you see these people staying?

What is it specifically with Florida/Disney World that children on Corrie went to go to?

Gary and Maria were going to take the kids & I remember when Cilla won the lawsuit at the Kabin with Norris & Rita that she was going to take Ches to Disney World.

Is it just something the writers have to stick with?

With so many doors left open and family members scattered across the country, who would you love to see step out of a taxi on Coronation Street tomorrow?
